What I Learned?

Delivery can be very

natural, even when planned.

The most striking aspect of Elizabeth’s

speech was the lack of

filler speech, such as “um”

and “uh”

Page 13: Diaz jessah ted_presentation

Elizabeth spoke quickly, without long pauses, and

she utilized the entire stage while speaking.

Comparing &

Contrasting

Page 14: Diaz jessah ted_presentation

Comparing &

Contrasting

Sir Ken Robinson used a slower speed when delivering the speech, took long pauses, and

stood in one position on stage

Page 15: Diaz jessah ted_presentation

Comparing &

Contrasting

Both speakers used humor and personal anecdotes to connect with their audience

and keep them engaged.

Tips I learned from Elizabeth& Recommend to the Class

Find the humor in the levity of your

speech!

Page 18: Diaz jessah ted_presentation

Use your strengths to your advantage; you

may work better moving around the stage, like

Elizabeth.

involve them emotionally
