INTRODUCTION

Today linguistics study about some problems in language which change by the environment. The problem that related to environment change is studied by ecolinguistics. Relation and

interaction between human and environment is signed by language can be trust but it can be opposite. We ca see between nature and culture it can be affected by the lose of speaker concep-

tion (adisaputra,2010:11)From the relation dynamic and human interrelation with the environment we can say

there is a change in environment. The environment change starts to disappear because people want something fast and instantly. People do not know the environment change because they do everything instantly without any process. Most of people do not use the lexicon about traditional medicine. From this point of view we can conclude if the people do not keep and save the environment and do not use it nicely, someday people forget to use something from environment for daily life.

Generally, the famous medical treatment is Chinese traditional treatment and western medical treatment. Chinese traditional treatment related to the food they consume for body function. Culture and philosophy of china state that the treatment is depend on the food and the environment. Chinese traditional treatment is from the habit and western medical treatment is based on the disease that must be destroy. The example of Chinese traditional treatment is Sinshe and Fengshui (kursusramuan. anjrahuhuniversity.com/79/tcm).

Based on Rasna (2013:199) there is decrease of knowledge about medical traditional plant in teenager. It caused of some factors 1) sociocultural change means the switching from traditional medical treatment to modern medical treatment. 2) socioecology change means the change of social environment 3) socioeconomic means the people think more pragmatic for need of life. This decrease is happened at LioEnde Flores specially teenagers.

Based on several studies found, it encourages authors to raise this topic of traditional medicine is very varied or diverse in the environment spoken LioEnde Flores. Based on the results of research in the field the use of wunu ‘leaf’ is very much in traditional medicine. In relation to the study of ecolinguistics all kinds of herbs in particular wunu become one of the highly efficacious in the process of healing the disease and the youth obtained. Moreover, it has interaction, interrelation and interdependence relationship with local society and environment. This needs to be explored so that the lexicon associated with the ‘leaf’ wu can be known and understood by every generation in order not to become extinct and eroded by the increasingly modern science and technology development (IPTEK).

The statement of the problems in this study are 1) How is the classification of lexicon form wunuatLioEnde Flores 2) What is the meaning of traditional medical treatment at LioEndeFlorest. The purpose of the study is to describe classification form wunu and the meaning in LioEnde Flores. The study is use ecolinguistics theory about the relation between language and environment ( Sapir in Fill, 2001: 14). Bside that Haugen (1972:326) describe that language is only in human brain and the function is to communicate with others and environment.

Bang and Door (1996: 10) state that linguistics theory has relation with ecology which reflect the human and problems in language phenomenon. BunsdgraarddanSteffensen state that ecolinguistic is the study about interrelation of biology dimension, sociology dimension and ideology dimension (in Linda and Bundsgraad (ed), 2000:11). Descriptive qualitative is the method that use to describe about lexicon of wunu as the traditional medicine and the meaning of the lexicon.

DISCUSSIONTraditional medicine has a unique process and has a variety of lexicons that can enrich the

Page 18: DIASPORA OF AUSTRONESIAN AND

Diaspora of Austronesian and Nonaustronesian Languages in Indonesia

linguistic treasures of Lio-Flores people who slowly begin to disappear along with the entry of modern medical systems. Based on interviews with a number of people who speak Lio-Flores, most of the lexicon used in traditional medicine is no longer known by the general public. Most of the regional vocabulary is switched to Indonesian. This happens because only some people or certain people still use the lexicon.

The natural wealth around humans is actually very useful and has not been fully explored, utilized, or even developed. The treasures of traditional medicine lexicons are generally applicable to everyone and have also been recorded or recorded on social media as well as print media.
