A company built from the ground up.Larry DeWitt started his own landscaping business in Sikeston, Missouri, soon after earning degrees in horticulture and land-scape design. In 1977, he was looking for a material to stop weeds and increase plant growth - without chemicals. But back then, black plastic was a landscaper’s only option. From hands-on experience, he knew that while plastic stops weeds, it also blocks out moisture and air. The result: disease, fungus and rot.

Unsatisfied, Larry decided to create something better. He exper-imented with textiles and materials until finally hitting paydirt. He discovered that woven polypropylene did everything he wanted. And his new “landscape fabric,” later dubbed DeWitt’s Weed Barrier™, changed the professional landscaping industry.

Pros quickly realized what an outstanding product DeWitt’s Weed Barrier was - for stopping weeds and also for promoting tremendous growth. They couldn’t get enough. and secure with anchoring Pins.

Arrange DeWitt Tree Ring around your plant bed or tree,

defining the boundary.

Adjoin the ends to form the desired shape. Trim excess fabric from the outside of the edging.

Green Fabric Pins are made from recycled plastic. They are non-corrosive, sturdy, easy to install and reusable. DeWitt Pond Underliner is a durable, clean, and safe material to install under ponds instead of using cardboard, newspapers, sand or old carpet padding. DeWitt Pond Underliners are constructed of nonwoven needle punched fabrics in various weights. Use of this material under your liner will help protect the inner wall from punctures from stones and cushion the pond wall for fish, while allowing gases to escape to maintain the proper biological balance for all pond life. It is easy to use, and installs in minutes.

DeWitt Deluxe Pond Netting is a sturdy, safe material to install over ponds to prevent leaves and other debris from entering the pond environment, while protecting fish and other pond life from predators. It is constructed of polyethylene with 1/4 inch hole opening. The strands are bonded together and UV-treated for longer life. Deluxe Pond Netting allows sunlight, air and moisture which helps maintain the proper biological balance for all pond life. It is easy to use and install. Regular Pond Netting is also available. It is constructed of polypropylene strands and has a 3/4” inch hole opening.

Poly Jute NettingDeWitt Poly Jute Netting is used as a soil stabilizer and erosion control agent on slopes, newly seeded turf and other ground surfaces to prevent washouts and protect from wind erosion. Poly Jute Netting is constructed of 100% polypropyl-ene with a unique combination of leno yarn and tape providing strength and durability. It won’t unravel like traditional woven burlap, and offers cost savings over straw. Poly Jute Netting is safe, photodegradable, non-toxic to healthy soil and plants, and will not support growth of fungus or mold. It is fabricated using a spunbond method, which sandwich-es melt-blown material between two layers of spun materi-al, forming a powerful 3-ply layer of weed protection.
