• The X-ray generated by the linac, with the characteristics of high energy, high penetration, high dose rate and small focus spot size, can be used as radiation source for

2. NDT Electron linac

Performance of the dual energy model

• Max Energy: 6MeV

• Penetrability: 50mm~280mm equivalent steel

• Work mode: 4MeV, 6MeV and alternate

• Max X-ray dose rate: 1000cGy/min@1m

• Pulse width: 0.5μs~5μs adjustable

• focal spot size: <2mm

• Pulse to pulse reliability: ±1%

Take GT-6D/1000 for instance:

Oct 2014, the PROPOSAL was publicized and promoted in the IEC

TC45 meeting in Las Vegas

Dec 8 2014, the NP was voted and approved.

Feb~ Apr 2015, the WD was finished and submitted to circulate and

solicit amend advise

Jul~ Aug 2015, the CD was built and improved based on the improved

WD

At IEC/TC 45 Plenary and WGs Meeting held in Gyeongju, Korea

from March 03~12, 2016, The CD was consulted and formed to CDV

In September 2016, CDV was approved in favor of 93.3%

In February 2017, FDIS passed the voteInte

3. Irradiation linac

• August 2002, self-shielding electron beam device base

on 2MeV electron linac was built for killing virus and

germs (including anthrax germ or spres) in mails after

911.

Energy: 2MeV Beam Power: 1kW Ability: 5000~10 000 mails/day

• The first self-shielding accelerator in China!

• December 2007, 10MeV / 15kW irradiation accelerator

demonstration project of China was officially completed

and put into operation.

The accelerator can provides a high performance electron beam

reference radiation field for calibration and identification of radiation

dosimeters.

It can also be used for anti-radiation reinforcement and performance

studies of semiconductor and microelectronic devices.

Electron beam energy: 6MeV,8MeV,10MeV and 12MeV.

Beam power: beam average power 1 ~ 6.5kW adjustable.

Repetition frequency: 50 ~ 350Hz.

Upright export scanning width: 600 ~ 800 mm (400mm from

titanium window).
