1 We are big—and growing. NAIOP Washington is more than 800 members strong, making us the fifth-largest chapter in North America. We are a group of influential and interested individuals focused on seeking the best strategies and resources to ad-vance our commercial real estate businesses. Our diverse network includes developers, contractors, architects, engineers, designers, brokers and prop-erty managers, and is a Who’s Who of the Puget Sound commercial real estate community. Plus, we added over 100 new members in 2015— a greater than 50% increase over the prior year.

2 We network. NAIOP Washington hosts 50+ educa-tional and networking events annually, at which countless business relationships are initiated or strengthened. Starting in 2015, we began bringing together new members for small-group networking opportunities. Facilitated by seasoned members, these New Member Meet-Ups encourage meaning-ful connections and networking opportunities on an ongoing basis throughout the year.

3 We help. The generous support of our sponsors fuels our active philanthropic and government affairs agendas. For example, NAIOP has spearheaded advocacy efforts before policymakers in Seattle to create alternatives for affordable housing while combating the proposed Linkage Fee (Housing Tax). And, 2015 marked the 25th anniversary of our Com-munity Enhancement Projects. Millions of dollars and countless hours of labor contributed by NAIOP members since 1990 have made a lasting impact in our community.
