• Understand about how person centred care and positive communication can improve well being for people with dementia.

• Identify different legislation which effects people with dementia

• Gain knowledge about the different medications available for people with dementia

• Understand how diverse the experience of dementia can be• Understand the importance of working with family and

friends of people with dementia
