DettoFatto (in english SaidDone) is an itinerant design and con-struction laboratory. Its main objective is create situations to bring to-gether architects, designers and all kind of creative and free-spirited people for short periods creating perfect working conditions for drawing, designing and building microarchitecture, furniture or insatallations that can be use-ful for the spots and locations we work at.

DettoFatto è un laboratorio itinerante di design e costruzione. Il suo principale obiettivo è quello di riunire creativi, architetti, designers, makers e autarchici per brevissimi periodi di tempo, ricreando le condi-zioni ideali per disegnare e costruire microarchitetture, furniture o istal-lazioni utili alle location in cui siamo ospitati.

DettoFatto is the demonstration that space is what you make it and that in a very short time it’s possible to reactivate all kind of locations than-ks to design.

DettoFatto è la dimostrazione che lo spazio è come tu lo fai e che in pochissimo tempo è possibile riattivare un luogo attraverso il design.

This kind of actions can be developed in public spaces, cultural associa-tions, museums or abandoned buildings. The participants get their mission, their material (for the most wood and metal) and their working tools, we assemble a temporary working space and care about everything else.

Le nostre azioni si possono sviluppare nelle piazze, nelle associazioni cul-turali, nei musei o in edifici abbandonati. Ai partecipanti viene assegnata una missione, materiali (perlopiù legno e metallo) e attrezzi da lavoro, noi allestiamo un’officina temporanea e poi pensiamo a tutto il resto.

The creative process is documented and it is based on the total partici-pation and collaboration between us and the groups as well as between the different groups. There’s one day for drawing and the rest of the time for constructing.

Il processo creativo è documentato e avviene in totale partecipazione e scambio fra noi e i gruppi e fra i gruppi stessi. C’è un giorno per dise-gnare e il resto del tempo per costruire.

During our DettoFatto, which last from 3 to 6 days, we recreate situa-tions of co-living and pleasure, the exchange of experiences is the main condition of our work and that’s what makes it possible to achieve a net-work of professional and energetic people, ready to start the next action.

Durante i DettoFatto, che in media durano dai 3 ai 6 giorni , ricreiamo situazioni di convivialità e divertimento, lo scambio di esperienze è alla base di tutto ed è ciò che crea un network di professionisti e attivisti pronti all’azione successiva.

DettoFatto has its operative base in south-west Sicily, Rome and Milan.

DettoFatto ha le sue basi operative nella Sicilia sud occidentale, a Roma e Milano.
