• Facilitate and coordinate the implementation of continental and regional priority programmes and projects
•Align policy frameworks and programmes with AU decisions•Ensure the delivery of consistent quality programmes to steer and accelerate transformation
• Mobilize resources and partners in support of programmes and projects implementation
•Acquire new and grow number of PPPs and partners
•Enable capacity at member states and REC level
•Conduct and coordinate research and knowledge management
•Develop processes to enable NPCA to be a development knowledge leader
•Monitor and Evaluate the implementation of programmes and projects
•Effective programme oversight to enable socio-economic transformation for Africa

MANDATE AND CORE FUNCTIONS OF NPCAMANDATE AND CORE FUNCTIONS OF NPCA
• 23 countries have signed the CAADP compact and one regional Compact (ECOWAS)
• 10 national investment plans reviewed
Agriculture and Food Security
• 10 countries have surpassed the 10% mark
• Over 20 countries have achieved agricultural growth rates of 6% or more.
