Determination of the Order Priority UseIf an order or schedule line is created manually or automatically in Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling (PP/DS), the system determines the priority of the order or schedule line. The order priority is valid for: An in-house production order for all receipt and requirement elements of the order An external procurement order for all receipt and requirement elements of the schedule lineTo keep thins simple, only the term order is used from no! on."ou can chane the order priority as follo!s: Manually in the product view Using the heuristic SAP_PP_0! for changing order priorities"ou use the order priority for specific, priority#dependent se$uencin for orders% for e&le, !ith DS heuristics or !ith PP/DS optimi'ation. FeaturesPriority values(n order can have a priority )et!een * and +,,. The value - is the hihest priority. The value +,, is the lo!est priority you can enter. If a value has not )een entered for the priority, or if you enter a 'ero, this corresponds to priority +,., the lo!est priority.Automatic priority determinationIn the plannin version, you define in the PP/DS: Determine Priority field ho! the system should determine the priority of an order.
