This image is again of the sketch I did of the butterfly, cropped, photo shopped then I played around on vector works creating different effects. My favourite one is of the darker colours, and the smaller print. Because the images are so detailed yet small I think it gives the effect of textured wallpaper, almost look like bamboo especially the darker brown colours. I really like the outcome of these. The last couple of pages I roughly put together a selection of one image to check the wallpaper matched up and it did perfectly – so I know this can be mass produced without any hiccups. If I chose one of these for one of my final pieces, the joins would be carefully put together but as a rough draft I’m get-ting the general feel for it. Overall, I think this collection has been really successful and prefer the diagonal design to the vertical in the collection ‘Turquoise wing collection’.
