Even youthful skin requires nourishment and preventative measures in order to determine how your skin will appear in your 30’s, 40’s and post menopause. A greater understanding of the ageing process means people in their 20’s are taking better care and seeking preventative action. Cellular turnover is at its peak with the dermal layers creating collagen and elastin. Skin appears plump and firm, however the damaging process may have already begun through a combination of poor skincare, UVA and UVB exposure, genetic influences, pollutants, poor diet and hormonal changes. During these years identifying problems, addressing immediate areas of concern and starting long term preventative regimes is key.

You are likely to begin to see the first visible signs of ageing in your 30’s, caused by reduced cell turnover, thinning of the skin, a noted reduction in skin hydration and thickening of the epidermal layers of the skin. Skin may appear wrinkled, lined, dull and with uneven tone. Rosacea, pigmentation, red veins and milia often become more pronounced. A combination of treating visible issues together with a programme to prevent further damage and ageing is required. Resurfacing, inhibitors, fillers, collagen stimulants should be considered at this life stage.

Gravity is the biggest contributing factor during these years, cell renewal and repair has decelerated, fine lines and wrinkles are deeper, veins are more prominent, skin has thinned and become more translucent. Skin healing is impaired by a significant reduction in collagen production leaving the matrix of the skin weakened and lax. A subtle combination of inhibiting, resurfacing and contouring treatments are recommended to have an immediate visible impact as well as re-stimulating fibroblasts to produce new collagen.

Post - Menopausal

The majority of women will become more aware of visible signs of ageing and of their own inner ageing process as the pre-menopausal years begin. Volume is lost firstly in the upper face, concavities and structural changes present in the mid-face and skin elasticity starts to breakdown in the lower face and neck. A combination of treatments is advised including resurfacing, volumising, defining and sculpting to rejuvenate at a deeper level.

40S Ageing

In the menopausal and post-menopausal years the ageing process is accelerated more rapidly than any other decade. Superficially skin elasticity, hydration and tone visibly deteriorates. This can be improved by skin resurfacing treatments complemented by an intensive skincare regime. At a deeper, more fundamental structural level, the facial shape changes which is remedied by non-invasive remodelling techniques. This will redefine your facial shape and restore hollow and sunken areas.

Botox® is a purified protein which relaxes the muscles responsible for the creation of frown lines and wrinkles. Ideal for worry lines on the forehead, crows feet around the eyes, frown lines between the eyes. An ideal anti-ageing treatment for all ages which delivers an instantly refreshed, natural result. Recommended 3 to 4 times per year.

| SKIN FILLERS

Hyaluronic acid is a substance that naturally occurs in the skin creating plumpness and hydration. This natural substance is used to define, enhance and add volume to all areas of the upper, mid and lower face. Ideal for temples, cheeks, nasal labial folds, lips and wrinkles. Results are immediate and are recommended 1 to 2 times per year. We only use recognised, researched and FDA approved non-permanent skin fillers to obtain the most effective and natural results. | VOLUMISERS AND COLLAGEN STIMULANTS

Sculptra® is poly l-Lactic acid that stimulates your own collagen to restore volume in the upper, middle and lower face. A course of between 1 and 3 treatments is recommended 6 to 8 weeks apart. The effect of restoring volume and improvement of skin laxity, including fine lines and wrinkles, is gradual with your own collagen being stimulated over a 12 week period, with results lasting 2 years. Often referred to as a non-surgical face lift, it delivers a subtle but more youthful appearance.

Ideal for all ages to promote cell renewal, reverse signs of ageing and for reduction of fine lines and wrinkles. Recommended in courses of 1 to 3 treatments, can be repeated throughout the year.

| HyPERHIDROSIS Excessive sweating in the underarms, hands and feet are successfully treated with Botox®. A treatment will last from 6 to 12 months.

| DERMAROLLER

A treatment using fine gauge needles on a roller are passed over the skin to cause a controlled inflammatory response. The skin heals by triggering collagen production to restore and remodel at an accelerated rate. This is a natural process relying on the skins own ability to repair and restore, resulting in younger, fresher, tighter skin within 2 to 4 weeks.

Ideal for stretchmarks, scars, wrinkles and general skin rejuvenation for use on the face, body, décolletage and hands. Recommended in courses of 3 to 5 treatments, 6 to 8 weeks apart, which may be repeated throughout the year. Immediately after treatment skin may appear red and tight, this reduces within 2 hours.

| ASyMMETRy TREATMENTS

Botox® and fillers are ideal treatments to correct asymmetry on the face such as uneven eyebrows, lip imbalance, hair lip and scars. Crooked or misshaped noses can be straightened and softened by a simple non-invasive filler procedure. This is often referred to as non-surgical rhinoplasty. One treatment required every 6 to 9 months.

| MESOTHERAPy

An intensive hydrating treatment for the skin, a series of micro-injections deliver Hyaluronic acid or a variety of vitamin compounds. Ideal for dry, crêpey or sun damaged skin to improve tone and texture, can be used for all ages. Under eye, face, décolletage and backs of hands all benefit from this treatment. A course of 2 to 3 treatments is recommended twice a year.

For the treatment of thread and spider veins in the legs. A solution is injected into the vessel to cause the vein to collapse and shrink, reducing visibility of red and blue veins.
