showcases New Zealand’s beautiful natural timbers and craftsmanship. Sculptured

curved timber slats enhance the figure of the rich grained Rimu and form the

Rimu, Sorenmobler strive to create furniture of inherent

quality and durability both in construction and design.

Premium grade Heart Rimu is hand selected and

matched to blend the distinctive grains and colours

into one harmonious table top. Each top carries its own

individual grain pattern reflecting the wide variation of

colours characteristic of this timber species.

A variety of Sorenmobler chair styles perform equally well

alongside the Riviera table but perhaps most successfully

the Poulson or Willowbank chairs. They combine the

same signature of quality construction and comfort

that are inherent in all Sorenmobler chairs providing

exceptional comfort and strength.

of the Riviera Dining Suite are a range of display and

storage cabinets. The classic design of the 1600mm and

1900mm Riviera Hutch dresser feature unique, curved

glass doors, providing exceptional display opportunities.

If space is at a premium, the Riviera Corner Display

Cabinet fits conveniently into a corner and highlights

those treasures with a full mirrored

back and halogen downlights.

Traditional, solid timber constructional techniques such

as glued and doweled joints are utilised in these cabinets

along with dovetailed drawers which run smoothly and

quietly on Quadro, self-closing runners. These unique

runners have a patented system of ball bearings which

ensure a lifetime of silent, smooth operation.

statement of this collection of fine furniture.

Features include distinctive timber moulds on

front corners. Bookcases come in two widths

and two heights and can be specified with

glass doors and mirrored backs if so

required for individual display purposes.

entertainment unitsThe Riviera design features are carried forward into

this collection of entertainment units. The smaller units

have curved glass doors, while the 1900mm unit has

radius timber doors at each end of the unit. Clear glass

allows for the operation of infra-red remotes. A range of

different CD and DVD storage units are available on the

various cabinets and along with this the 1200

and 1500mm unit are available as corner units.

Swivel turntables are optional on all units.

riviera oakThe timeless Riviera Design Collection is now available

in American White Oak. This classic furniture timber

has been used for generations wherever an exclusive

furniture piece has been specified. Hard, durable and

inherently attractive, American White Oak adds a certain

aura of quality to this exceptional range of furniture.

Beautiful in its natural colourings, Oak can also be

stained to a range of timber shades. This enables new

pieces of furniture to blend in with those existing

family heirlooms.

Most standard pieces in the Riviera Collection are now

available in American Oak, but with a slightly longer

lead time and price variation than the Rimu equivalent.

Sorenmobler is the brand behind many collections of fine solid

timber furniture. Manufactured in Wanganui, this Riviera Collection

forms a premium range of exquisite furniture designs. Distinctive

and timeless, The Riviera Collection is manufactured from

New Zealand Rimu, sourced from Sustainable Managed Forests

on the West Coast of the South Island and the Central North

Island. This beautiful timber is only found in New Zealand and is

not to be confused with other timbers sometimes marketed as

Pacific Rimu. This is not the same species and does not exhibit

the same attractive grain patterns as our native NZ Rimu.

Sorenmobler is a family business that has over 30 years

experience and is well established in the premium sector of the

market through a long term committal to service, quality and

integrity of design. Experienced trade persons team with modern

machinery and competitive manufacturing practices to deliver

high quality furniture to the discerning consumer.

Sorenmobler utilises premium grades of New Zealand Rimu and

American Oak, these species require time consuming air drying

followed by temperature controlled kiln drying to prepare the

timber for manufacture. Further careful processing is required

before the final steps of sanding and finishing. To truly highlight

the stunning natural characteristics of this timber requires correct

sealing and finishing. Sorenmobler use two-pack urethane sealers

and two-pack acid catalysed lacquers, which provide a silky

smooth and durable clear finish. This only requires minimal

care, with a regular wipe clean and dry being all that is required

to maintain this finish.

Sorenmobler are a dedicated quality furniture manufacturer

committed to supplying and servicing this Riviera Collection of

Fine Furniture. This Collection carries a 5 + 5 year warranty. All

chairs carry a 5 year warranty and all other pieces 10 years,

subject to the manufacturers terms and conditions and applicable

only to the original purchaser and for domestic use only.
