MoU with The Hague, Netherlands
• The MoU is focused on 4 major areas – Elderly Care, Cyber Security, Genetics and Startups
• A Hackathon was held in Hague last October and 5 Hackers from Karnataka were selected and funded by Hague.
MoU with Finland:
• MoU envisions providing landing pads (temporary office space and other assistance at a reasonable price) for startups when a company from one side plans to explore the market on the other side
• Aims to facilitate collaborations between startup incubators and accelerators from Karnataka and Finland.
• Matchmaking events will be organized where startups and large corporations from Karnataka and Finland get a chance to interact and work with each other
Elevate100
• Department of IT and BT organized Elevate100 an event to identify Top100 Innovative Tech Startups across the State
• Grand Finale was held on 29th & 30th Aug, 2017 wherein 100 most promising startups were selected out of pool of 1700 applicants (startups)
• Elevate100 winners would be given Govt grant or support in terms of Mentorship, Market access through pilot, Access to Govt. VCs , Acceleration support etc.
• Booster kit is a collection of software tools and services like Cloud Services , Internet & Virtual Telephony, Testing Services , Payment Gateway , Banking, Legal & IP Services offered to startups as a special package.
• MOUs have been signed with Corporate’s , Banking & Financial Institutions, Legal and IP Firms etc to facilitate the services to startups
