The Truth, Healing and Reconciliation Taskforce
invites service providers, people with lived experience of institutional child sexual abuse and their supporters
to an opportunity to come along to find out more information on the Royal Commission into Institutional Responses to Child Sexual Abuse
and the National Redress Scheme.
Speakers at the forum will include:The Honourable Di Farmer, Minister for Child Safety, Youth and Women and
Minister for the Prevention of Domestic and Family Violence,
Mr Robert (Bob) Atkinson, former CommissionerRoyal Commission into Institutional Responses to Child Sexual Abuse and
Chair, Truth, Healing and Reconciliation Taskforce (Queensland)and
Ms Prue Gregory, Ms Amanda Whelan and Mr Dean Bell, knowmore Legal Service.
Members of the Truth, Healing and Reconciliation Taskforce who have lived experience of institutional child sexual abuse will be in attendance at the forum
and available to speak with people.

Community Venues, Level 3, City Library Building,Corner of Herries and Victoria St, Toowoomba.
Morning tea will be available on arrival and lunch will be provided. If you have any specific dietary needs please let Kelly know.
Limited free parking is available for 3 hour duration in the undercover carpark. Alternatively, full day parking is available for $5 at the Water/Herries St Carpark.
Cash and cards are accepted.
RSVP is not essential, however it would be helpful for catering purposes.
