• To discuss strategies that facilitate“buy-in” of the process

• To examine the process, structure, coordination and integration of the assessment plan into institutionalplanning and budgeting

Strategies to Facilitate “Buy-in”

• User-friendly process

• Multiple discussions with department/program chairs

• Pilot programs with subsequentsharing of the process

• Designated DAPR coordinatorwho facilitates the process

• Suggesting that chairs use the data for accreditation visits and advisory board or part-time faculty meetings

• Provost publicly summarizes resultsof review process

• Meeting individually with interested departments and programs to complete the review and develop an assessment plan
