Manage FY 2016 operating budget of $553,000. As a member of a professional team brought in from outside the university, we have reversed the financial and physical decline of the aviation department and airport while building collaborative relationships with university staff and public and private stakeholders. I rebranded the FBO to UCM Aviation and re-focused from attempting to attract turbine traffic back to our core constituency; the aviation college and small general aviation. Airport Inventory: 460 acres, 678,000 square feet of asphalt, 61 ,200 sqft of concrete apron, 46 t-hangar aircraft storage units, 3,250 sqft terminal building, 26,050 sqft combined academic, maintenance and storage hangar space, 20,000 gallon fuel storage facility Improved last 9 months ofFY 2015 budget shortfall by 42% over FY 2014 Supervise a staff of six and one intern. An FBO team member awarded 2016 University of Central Missouri Student Worker ofthe Year Manage F AA/MoDOT funded runway identifier remarking project - on time, on budget Manage F AA/MoDOT funded primary surface grading project- 30 days ahead of schedule and under budget with 100% MoDOT funded extras Planning started on a new parallel taxiway to include demolition of condemned airport terminal Special grant process begun with MoDOT for terminal/flight school building replacement Initiate planning for new T -hangar construction Successfully facilitate signature events at the airport such as: the national women's Air Race Classic, Boy Scout Aviation Encampment, alumni reunions and student group sponsored fly-ins Direct refurbishment of bulk fuel facility to bring into compliance with environmental regulations Maintain compliance with FAA regulations, local and national codes, state procurement practices, environmental, safety and security regulations. Direct daily business of Fixed Base Operation (FBO), at Telluride Regional Airport (TEX), a resort destination and highest commercial airport in North America (9078 msl). The FBO catered primarily to high-end clientele, including celebrities, requiring special concierge and security services. The FBO campus consisted of7.4 acres, a 28,000 square foot terminal, 30,000 gallon fuel storage, aircraft storage hangar, restaurant and secure airline area (Mesa, GP Express & Great Lakes Airlines).
