Do you have what it takes to be one of tomorrow’s leaders in the UK banking industry? Then enter the Deloitte UK Young Banker of the Year competition.

The most challenging and rewarding event of the Chartered Banker Institute calendar for young bankers is here again. The format of the competition asks contestants to focus on innovation and to come up with an idea that could help shape the future of UK banking.

If you or one of your colleagues is a high-potential future leader, keen to make or already making a significant contribution to rebuilding the UK banking industry, reflecting the very best qualities of customer-focused professional competence promoted by the Chartered Banker Institute, we would like to hear from you.

We are seeking nominations from individuals and institutions across UK banking and deposit-taking or lending institutions who meet the eligibility criteria.

The winner gains industry-wide recognition as a high potential individual with a great future ahead of them. In addition, there is a first prize of an overseas holiday for two and prizes for three runners up.

The best entrants after round one will be invited to give a short presentation on their submissions at a private semi-final. From the semi-final, four finalists will be selected to give a presentation on their proposal at the live final before an invited audience. This year’s live final will take place at London’s Mansion House with an illustrious judging panel including The Lord Mayor of the City of London.
