Digital content creation for film, television and gaming is the largest area of growth within the media and entertainment industry, either as standalone full animation features, or as Computer Generated Imagery (CGI) for integration into film, video or games. A production follows three basic stages: pre-production, production and post-production. Creating CGI and capturing images is part of production whereas the convergence of image based media and CGI happens in post-production along with VFX.
