DELHI PUBLIC SCHOOL ONGC, NAZIRA (Under the aegis of the DPS Society, New Delhi) School No. 05093 REPORT ON THE OBSERVANCE OF VIGILANCE AWARENESS WEEK 2017 In order to generate awareness about maintaining vigilance in our day-to- day lives, Vigilance Awareness Week was observed in the school from 31 st October 2107 to 4 th November 2017. In connection with the observance of the week, the school collaborated with its sponsor ONGC by sending its students to participate in the various events organized by the ONGC. Literary Activity: A speech competition on the theme of this year’s observance of the week- ‘My Vision- A Corruption-Free India’ was conducted in which stu dents of the school participated very enthusiastically. In the Speech competition, Ms Muskan Jogani of Class XI-Commerce secured the first position, Ms Sheikh Raisha Tabassum of Class XII-Arts bagged the second position and Mr Shreyam Hemanta of Class IX bagged the third position. Cultural Activity: A street-play based on the aforesaid theme was also performed by the students of the school on the ONGC campus and also in Village Changmai and the students won great accolades for their performance and the message conveyed through the skit. Besides, the ONGC awarded a token of Rs 20000 to the school for the impactful performance of the students. Mass Pledge: To further strengthen the sense of vigilance among the students in the school, Special Assemblies were conducted during which students and all staff members of the school took the mass e-pledge not to get involved in any corrupt practices both in private and public life. Speeches were also delivered by the students, urging all to refrain from getting involved in any kind of corruption and maintain total transparency in public works and dealings. Signing of E-Pledge: Students of the school also got the e-pledge signed by many members of the society. Ms Shuhana Sabah Ahmed, a student of Class XI-Science of the school, won a prize for getting maximum number of e-pledges signed by various members of the society. On the whole, the Vigilance Awareness Week was observed in a befitting manner in the school. Miss Meenakshi Duarah PGT-English

REPORT ON THE OBSERVANCE OF VIGILANCE AWARENESS WEEK 2017

In order to generate awareness about maintaining vigilance in our day-to- day
