"They deceive, Allah also deceives, Surely Allah is the best of deceivers"
Surah Ale-Imran - Ayah 54
The 12th June Presidential Elections in Iran and the consequential circumstances from it's results,
the incidents that came into existence after this and the unforeseen events needs an
interpretation and analysis. Though everyone has grasped this topic up to the extent of media andthis is the reason that its significance has also increased. Now it is necessary to know what reallytook place over there? What was about to happen ? What was thought about it? And what is the
current situation?
This grievous and significant incident took place in the month of June 2009 after thirty years o
revolution. The revolution is now thirty years old which means the Islamic democratic system or
the system of wilayat and Wilayat-e-Faqeeh has been established and maintained on this land
since thirty years.
In February 1979 the revolution achieved success and until 12th June 2009 in accumulation of
Parliamentary and Presidential elections total 23 elections took place. In these thirty years the
attempts made by the internal and external enemies of the revolution for its demolition are morethan thirty in count. This means in order to demolish this thirty years of revolution more than
thirty times such attempts have been made out of which even any one attempt was enough todisperse and demolish any other system in the world. From these thirty attempts we will be
analyzing ten major attempts over here out of which this is the tenth attempt which started atpresent with the June elections.
Ten Major attempts to deviate the Revolution from its goals and objectives.
First Crisis: Treachery of veiled faces
The first attempt which was made right from the advent of the revolution to change is directionand course was that certain persons had put on the veils of revolution on their faces andattempted to foil this revolution by getting inside the ranks of the revolutionaries not allowing it to
reach its goals. Abul Hasan Bani Sadr who was the first elected President after the revolution was
one of such veiled faces . His entire team had individuals like him present inside amongst whichone was from the Freedom movement (Nehzat-e-Azadi) or the Freedom party who was amongstits leaders and founders with the name of Mehdi Bazargan; he was the first Prime Minister after
the revolution. Their entire team from the beginning of the revolution itself took the reigns of
revolution in their hands and were successful indeceiving many. Their attempt was to divert
revolution from its course and distance it from itsgoals but Allah (s) defeated their Satanic attempts
and the revolution remain secured from their evils.Though the losses incurred at that time were very
high because if the first prime minister of Revolutionitself is deviated and hypocrite; and the first
President who was elected also turns out to be

deviated and misguided then you can imagine what
major crisis would have developed for the revolution. It is evident that these were not just twoindividuals but were part of a complete conspiracy who had full control over everything. Even theeffective personalities of revolution were lower than them in terms of authority and had no control
in regards to authority.
Second Crisis: The Terrorism of Hypocrites
The more severe second crisis than the first which the internal and external enemies of revolution
started for the eradication of revolution was terrorism. These terrorists entered the ranks ofrevolutionaries pretending to be revolutionary individuals. It is quite evident when a revolution
takes place in any community or nation such an environment is
created whereby it becomes possible for others to enter inside. The
terrorists carried out severe acts of terrorism later and snatched thefoundation pillars of revolution from it like Martyr Mutttaheri, MartyrBeheshti, the later elected President Martyr Rajae, Prime Minister
Bahonar, a big majority of Parliament and like this many other big
personalities and foundation pillars were martyred by them at the
advent of revolution itself.
One group of terrorists which had entered the revolution known asMujahideen-e-Khalq and within Iran they were addressed asMunafiqeen-e-Khalq which means they were
termed as Hypocrites. Masood Razaei wasthe head of this group who did a big damageto revolution and Shiite; though all the
activities were not theirs some of the terrorist acts were carried out by
the terrorist group Furqan; some were from Mujahideen-e-Khalq, somefrom other big and small groups. If you just consider the Martyrdom of
Mutttaheri (r.a) this itself was a big blow to revolution or Martyr Beheshti(r.a) and later the entire government, Prime Minister and President were
all martyred in one incident; many such incidents took place which tookaway the pillars of the system. But even after all this Allah (s) preservedand kept the revolution firm; the revolution did not drift from its path
and neither did it weaken. Though the damage done was severe but
despite of this severe losses the revolution did not deviate from its path.
Third Crisis: The Imposed war of Saddam
The third big apprehension was the imposed war by Saddam though it was not just Saddam
behind this in fact the Arab world, entire West, Russia and America(though at that time America and Russia were two opposing blocks) all
together were supporting the back of Saddam and Iraq against the
revolution. With full forces and in a most barbaric way this war wasstarted against a young revolution. This battle continued in extreme form
for eight years. Even an eight days of such ferocious war is enoughagainst a young and new system but in this stage also Allah (s) with his
means and his army which Allah has appointed for this gave victory torevolution.

Fourth Crisis: Political and Economic Sanctions
In continuation to this the fourth crisis or dissension which was raised to eradicate the revolutionwere economical and political sanctions which are continuing till date. These restrictions hadstarted immediately after the revolution though in the beginning it was done in an implicit manner
but later it was done explicitly and continues till date. The limits of these restrictions were such
that the restrictions were not just limited to selling weapons to Iran; selling tanks and aircraftswere far from realization but even ordinary weapons which are available everywhere that alsothey were not selling to Iran and even they went to the extent that spiked fences and wire coils
which are used for field protection fencing, a very simple thing was not being sold by any country
to Iran due to these severe restrictions and these restrictions are continuing with the sameseverity till date; but despite of this today the Iranian Islamic system has become an atomic
power. It is not easy to acquire atomic technology under all these restrictions. The restrictionsand hardships imposed in other fields are not being discussed now.
Fifth Crisis: Communal and Regional differences
The fifth crisis which was initiated at the beginning of the revolution itself were communaldifferences. There are various communities and population settled in Iran like Persians, Turks,Kurds, Balochs, Turkeminists and like this many communities are settled. Communal differences
were started with these community with full flow and even till date they try to take advantagefrom these differences. Even in this election full attempts were made to give air to communal
differences and communal issues were raised.
Sixth Crisis: Religious differences or Sectarianism
The sixth dissension against the revolution by means of which attempts were made to terminate
this light of Allah was religious differences; that is Shia Sunni differences. A good quantum of
population in Iran is of Sunni brethrens though the dominating majority is of Shiite but still aminority of Sunni's is present. This is also an interesting fact in this regard that majority of Sunnislive in the border areas of Iran. This means if you draw a circle around the country than this
entire circle is of Sunni's. Sunni population is present on the borders meeting Pakistan,
Afghanistan and Iraq. Even on the sea border of gulf there is Sunni population. There are verylimited border areas where there is Shia population. Shia's are mostly present in central Iranwhereas in the distant areas Sunni population is there. Several and repeated attempts have been
made to give air to the religious differences between Sunnis and Shia's transforming these
differences into discords and enmity thereby defeating the revolution. These acts are still ongoingand they have not neglected this topic; continuous work is ongoing in this domain and even inthis election this issue was explicitly given importance.
Seventh Crisis: Cultural Assault
The seventh crisis if not considered to be more severe than the previous crisis still cannot be
considered as less which has been declared by the Supreme Leader of the Islamic revolution as
Cultural Assault and in Persian interpretations it is termed as "Tahajjum e Farang" or a Culturalattack or assault specifically against the revolutionwhereby He says if it was any other land or nation it
would have perished by now. The aggression andseverity with which this cultural assault started against

the revolution can be witnessed by its effects even
today. Every thing in it has its own narration but here we are only discussing at as a topic subitem. They all need interpretation and analysis to know how much capital was used on theseassaults? How much strength they possessed? And the destructive power present inside these
dissensions ? Amongst these devastating crisis is Cultural assault which is on going since long.
Eight Crisis: The era of Khatami
The eight crisis which came out with a specific complexity was
the eight years tenure of Khatami. The tenure of Khatami was
a difficult period for the Islamic system which was passedthrough in a colourful way. Even within Iran these issues arenot very clear so how can it be clear for the outside world who
is only concerned with the media and their association with
Iran is only through media whereas media has been theweapon in the hands of the enemies in all these attacks.
Anyhow this was also a highly complex phase from which Allah(s) protected this revolution and now after these elections little
realization has happened about what kind of era was that?
Ninth Crisis: Threats of Military attacks
The ninth crisis which the enemies have always kept as a hanging sword and an alternative andtill date they are trying to increase this threat is a military attack which has not been used against
Iran but since thirty years this threat is present. There is not a single day on which they do notthreaten that we will attack Iran. According to Imam Khomeini (r.a) if they had the courage to
attack then they would have done several attacks by now; this thing is beyond their abilities.
Tenth Crisis: Velvet Revolution
We have discussed nine big crisis against the revolution in the past thirty years and the tenth big
and most astonishing discord was the one created on the event of 12th June elections which was
all planned from before. It was given different revolutionary titles. In order to open up this topicour discussion would be to understand what is this Velvet Revolution? On 22nd Khordad 1388Persian calendar and 12th June 2009 English Calendar on the occasion of Presidential Elections
what was planned by the internal and external elements was a "Velvet Revolution".
The plans made for this stage are very dangerous. It might not be reasonable to talk about the
specifics of this in front of the Iranian community though in specific gatherings and groups thedetails and specifics are discussed. But since outside Iran for the supporters of revolution, its
admirers and lovers these incidents have been talked about with extremism through the media
and which has developed high level of sensitivity hence to present some of the precise specifics ofthese issue is not a concern.
The plan which was worked upon during this event and the conspiracy which was their vision toactivate and they did also is named as "Velvet Revolution". For approximately three decades thisterminology of Velvet Revolution is known in the political world. It is also known as colourful
revolution or soft revolution. All these titles are also given by its founders, its politicians and its

theoricians. Soft revolution means changes bought in a soft manner and is called in English as
Velvet Revolution. This conspiracy has met success in four or five countries till now and this
success has elevated their courage and motivation hence they suggested this formula for theIranian elections. Though since long the environment was being prepared but its final stage wascovered in the June elections whereby this attempt failed.
1
Definition of Velvet Revolution
This terminology became formally known in the world first time from Czechoslovakia which is astrategic centre of democratic Europe. This terminology was first used
by its President Vaclav Havel and as result of this Czechoslovakia got
divided and it also left its effects in nearby region. This same personVaclav Havel later become the president of Serbia in 1989. He was the
one who used this terminology of Velvet revolution in Czechoslovakia. Before we talk about the countries in which changes were brought
with this conspiracy let us first define and understand what is meant
by this Velvet Revolution.
Velvet Revolution is the name of change in power without anybloodshed. It is the name of bringing a power change in the countrywithout using any military power or Classic means. Certain public level
steps and with the help of public bringing a power transfer in an easyand soft manner in which there is no bloodshed, no lives lost, noarrests but still the power gets easily transferred. This is what is meant by Velvet Revolution.
Since velvet is a very soft cloth this name has been given to this revolution. It has been also
termed as Colourful Revolution because within this conspiracy the use of colour plays a significantrole and colour has been used in the all the places where this revolution took place or wasinitiated. This colour could be of some flower, tree, cloth or just some ordinary colour and this is
the reason it is also known as colour revolution. The transfer of power (political and governance)
done in our desired and admired way is velvet revolution.
The successful experiments of Velvet Revolution
Few countries in which changes have happened with the discussed method; first is Czechoslovakiawhere in 1989 there was a power transfer. In Serbia this plan was successful twice; first in 1997and then in 2000 and the government changed with this method.
In 2003 there was a power transfer in Georgia with this planning. Eduard Shevardnadze who wasthe ex foreign minister of Soviet Union and the first Presidentof Georgia was also pulled out of power by this method and in
his place Saakashvili who is the President now came intopower with this method.
In 2004, under the same planning changes took place in
Ukraine.

In 2005 same thing happened in Kazakhstan though some bloodshed happened there. If youremember or are aware and have paid attention to those issue in media there was somebloodshed in Kazakhstan because the temperament over there was such due to which discords
happened.
In such kind of political changes the actual planning is done under the guidance of America and
Europe. In this the leadership and guidance is from America and Europe, and they are the oneswho select the countries. The situation in a Classic Revolution is different like in Iran and otherplaces revolutions have happened. It happens in a conventional way whereby there is a chaos,
rebellion, violence, arrests, bloodshed and some people are put behind bars but in a velvetrevolution all this does not happen. There are no arrests, no bloodshed happens; such an
environment is created whereby without sensing and realization power transfer takes place whichmeans the grip of government becomes loose and those whom they desire to give power they
easily come into power. For this revolution those countries are selected with whom America is not
pleased and they are not obedient to America; preference is given to those nations who have highinfluence of Russia and China on them. On the basis of political and economical division of worldevery country has its specific circle and in past Soviet Union has been its centre and it was
considered formally as a block. Though this strength of Russia got crumbled but still the effect of
Russia can be seen till date on central Asian countries which separated from Russia whereas some
countries have effects of China on them. In those nations also which are neither influenced byRussia nor China, like Iran still have one thing common amongst all that they are not obedient
and under control of America. For bringing changes in these nations this formula and planning hasbeen done.
The foundations of Velvet Revolution
The person who first introduced this revolution in the political world andmade it practical in Czechoslovakia is Vaclav Havel. After him thisterminology became common on tongues; first time he raised the slogan of
this terminology in his political gatherings and processions that Velvet
Revolution has started. But the thought of this revolution was an outcome ofthe thoughts of an American Doctor and Professor Gene Sharp who ispresent now also and he is the founder and senate member of Albert
Einstein Institute. This institute in America is an important centre for
American think tanks. The function of Albert Einstein institute is to carry outglobal strategic studies and surveys; and then working out plans for every
country that comes out as a result of this survey. His well known book is
"The Politics of Nonviolent Action". In 1993 he has written a book by thetitle "From
Dictatorship to Democracy" which has
been translated in more than thirty
languages. Generally when such books are
printed, they are first printed in theiroriginal language and introduced locallythen they become famous and slowly
moves to other countries; and thengradually after a very long period
approximately in twenty five years it getstranslated in ten languages but this is such
a sample work and a unique book that
immediately after printing; that is in 1993 or may be towards the end of 1994 within a span oftwo years it got translated in more than thirty languages and distributed across the world. It wasalso translated in Persian. First it was translated in China because they wanted to bring these

changes in China hence it got done in Chinese language and it became a reference manifesto for
various political powers.
This person has organized this book in a beautiful manner because he himself is a talentedperson, a theorist and part of a think tank. He has expressed the complete theory in ten chapters
of this book and in this theory he has introduced 198 types of practical techniques. This book is
formally taught and specifically for opposition groups it has been written that you will have tomake new organizations, groups, allies and you will have to provide them specific training. Thisbook was published in 1993 and elections in Iran took place in June 2009 which means after 16
years in Tehran 198 types of techniques were applied which were jotted down in this book in 1993that all these you have to do for a velvet revolution. In Iran these stages were covered in steps
when the enemies of revolution failed in all other previous tactics like war, sanctions, pressure
and terrorism; when they could not eradicate the revolution and were not successful in their goalsthey resorted to their final tactic of a Velvet revolution in Iran which was successfullyexperimented in other countries.
The suitable period for Velvet Revolution
This revolution has a significant stage that it can only take off at the time of an election. It cannottake place without election; it needs an election environment because this theory is for election
only. In order to cover its practical steps an election environment is selected because duringelections specific type of circumstances are developed which are not present in ordinary days thatis even the Law and Order of a country also faces a different situation as compared to ordinarydays. The freedom to speak and do things are more than before, for elections it is necessary to
give freedom to election parties and candidates; under this situation a specific environment getsdeveloped and the government intentionally ignores certain issues; and the entire world'sattention is towards this country or region during elections.
The community in which elections are taking place develops a specific psychological state which isnot the same in others outside this community. Like if elections are taking place in India and
Pakistan the people of these nations undergo a specific psychological state which is not present in
other days and this state is also not present in other communities outside these nations. Duringthe time of elections certain persuasions andlimitations arise for which the government is not in a
position to do anything. The existing government in an
undesired manner has to tolerate certain things. Thisis the reason that the election environment isconsidered as the most suitable environment for the
Velvet Revolution. This environment was selected forIran. In the past elections also they (enemies) werealert and attentive but they used to promote boycott
of elections. American and European media used toincite the Iranian community to not to participate inthe elections. They used to make full efforts to boycottthe elections; Europe and America used to formally play the role of opposition similar to the way
an opposition party within a country does. But in this recent election it was not just that they did
not talk about boycotts but in fact they promoted certain candidates as if these candidatesbelonged to their countries and are residents of their countries.
The Practical stages of Velvet Revolution

The first point is to benefit from this election environment.
Benefiting from power hungry elements
The first step is to find out the power hungry elements in the target country. There are somepeople who are power hungry similar to some who are hungry for name and fame. There are
some who are always desirous to come into power and they want power at any cost; and such
persons are present in every country. Just like in Pakistan's current government power struggle ison the horizon. For the sake of power they are willing to pay any price and they have done also.
The most expensive power base was bought by thiscurrent government (in Pakistan) and no one before
paid this much price to come into power thougheveryone wants to come in power. Maulana Fazlur
Rahman in the last election after achieving success inone province passed a comment in honour of Western
Ambassadors whereby he specifically said this to
American Ambassador that "You have tested the clean
shaved persons by giving them power now at least testonce the bearded ones by giving them power." Theseare amongst his historical statements which means that
he is also willing to the pay the price for power and ispaying also but he is not having that much price to be
paid to come in full power.
Every party and group is ready to pay the price in their own way. This is the law everywhere. It is
the same in India also. The power hungry elements who desire power at any cost does not carewhether it comes from the right route or inappropriate way. The power hungry persons are
present in India, America and Europe as well; they may be at a smaller scale or higher scale butthere are such self oriented and fame driven persons definitely present everywhere. If you
imagine someone who is not in politics but in some religious organization he is also desirous ofpower. They love to become President, Secretary and the centre so that the people are gathered
around them; anyone can get infected with this disease in fact it is present in one tradition that
"Beware of a Scholars lapses" and seek refuge from Allah(s). Imam (a.s) was asked what arethese lapses of a scholar? Imam (a.s) replied that the lapses of a scholar are when he likes that
he should be surrounded by people; when there is a big audience, devotees, students and thosewelcoming him are more; when this liking towards people gets developed than these are the
lapses of a scholar. When a Scholar gets infected with such a disease then you should seek refugefrom such a scholar.
In regards to environment and circumstances the election atmosphere and those elements who
are power hungry are essential for a velvet revolution.
The financial support from America and Europe
There is abundance financial support from America and Europe for the success of this plan. Thosecountries which were discussed before in the context of this revolution America and Europe have
given full financial support to their desired candidates and parties and these candidates did not
experience any financial difficulties just like in Ukraine, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Czechoslovakia andeven in Lebanon. Though in Lebanon the apple of their eye was already in power hence they just

bought him to back to power and there was no need for a revolution because there the objectivewas not change in power but to sustain the person since in opposition was their dangerousopposition party Hizbullah. This is the reason that even in Lebanon they spent a lot of money andadopted this velvet way over there as well. In order to defend power they used all the techniques
and talents because a change was dangerous for them.
The Role of Media
There is a major and in fact fundamental role played by media in this revolution. The media just
does not delivers the role of news agency but instead it plays the role of a group andorganization. The status of media in this is similar to that of a control room during wars where theplanning for war is done and all the activists are given instructions from here.
In the Iranian elections this role was played byBBC. They started a Persian channel six
months before the election which was not
present before. BBC radio was already present
before and had maximum Persian broadcast.Everywhere in Ukraine, Georgia and
Czechoslovakia BBC played a central role andspecifically six months prior to the Iranianelections they launched the Persian satellite TVwhich provides 24 hours service. This was the
control room for this election whereas othermedia sources who are associated with them
also played a special role in creating the environment amongst which three or four channels
played a significant role; they were Fox News, CNN, Al Arabia which is a Saudi Arabian TV channel
and Al Jazeera which is from Qatar. They played the role of deputies of BBC but the central rolehas been of BBC which means that with the help of media they attempted to go through thesestages.
Civil Disobedience
An important tactic for Velvet Revolution is Civil and Social disobedience. This means to instruct
all the government employees or workers in
different other departments to disobey thegovernment. They should shut down colleges, universities and factories; and all other departments
should also go on holidays. All those organizations
like transport, airport or those departments which
directly play significant role in public should bearoused for disobedience.
Propaganda for failure of existing government
One important tactic of theirs for the velvet revolution is by using propaganda to the extent you
should make the people certain that their existing government, which they don't like and want totopple is an unsuccessful and failed government. And to develop fear and awe in the hearts of the
people that if this government remains in power than the country will perish. If for two more

months this government remains in power people will be deprived of everything and even bread. They develop an environment that this is failed government in the hearts of the people by using
media, gatherings, processions and every possible tactics.
Presenting American Agent as the saviour
When they are successful in proving the existing government as corrupt, transgressing and
unsuccessful then at this instance they have to present their favourite and desired person as thesaviour. This means first present the country's atmosphere as thin, disgusting, dark and
oppressive so that people get worried ; and this thing
has happened in Iran. They attempted to present the
government of President Ahmedinjad as useless andfailed to such an extent that even foreign seminarystudents who don't even have the rights to vote were
worried whether we will we able to return or not?whether we will even bread or not tomorrow? It isevident that their propaganda against the governmentwas so severe that they presented their favourite eyed
person as a saviour that he is the one who can givesalvation to this community and nation; if this persondoes not comes to power then nothing will be left in
this nation.
Presenting the non favourite leaders of America as dictators
Proving governments as dictators and imperialists is an important part of the teachings of Gene
Sharp. The things from which benefits are to be derived for
the elections; one of them is to prove the existing system asdictatorial; that this is an imperialistic system; there is no
freedom in this. Since they have to travel from dictatorship todemocracy they need to raise the slogan of democracy. Hence
unless you prove the existing system as dictatorial how canyou do this journey from dictatorship to democracy? People
should realize that they are moving from dictatorship towardsdemocracy. The name of his book is also the same "From
dictatorship to democracy". This activity was also carried in
full flow and in fact the debates which took place there alsoone thing was strongly emphasized that President Ahmedinjadis a Dictator. They sat in front of him and said you are a
dictator. A person who is in government and in power you are
calling him Dictator sitting in front of him? How can he be a
dictator? If he would have been a dictator you would not havethe courage to sit in front of him and say all this. One who is
listening to your talks how can he be a dictator? The aim wasto prove Ahmedinjad as a dictator.
Gene Sharp has prescribed 198 types of techniques for the velvet revolution and all these were
acted upon in Iran. You should remain attentive that whatever you heard from media were allthese things.

Fiery Speeches
There was an opportunity of 21 days for election campaign but in Iran three months prior to the
election all the three candidates started delivering fiery speeches across the length and breadth of
the country.
It is necessary to mention this that there was a course organized in Dubai and classes were donein which some men and women were present; out of which some are still outside the country till
now, some are in prison and some are free inside Iran only. They had undergone a few weeks of
course in Dubai; a proper training camp was organized and they were trained on what all stagesthey have to overcome.
The selection of Colour and its effect in the Velvet movement
In the velvet revolution the selection of colour is significant like in Ukraine colour was used. If youremember their caps, T-shirts, posters and banners everything was in
orange colour and hence this revolution in Ukraine was called as Orangerevolution. Like this in Georgia its symbol was a flower, in Lebanon the
Hariri group selected a green tree as a symbol. In Kazakhstan theyselected Red colour for them. In Iran Mir Hussein Moosavi selected Green
colour for himself. The reason why there is a significance for colour is
that because in this book it is mentioned that at a general public levelyou cannot easily induce your visions in the minds of people but you can
very easily induct a colour in peoples mind. Colour plays different gamesand there are various miracles of colour. Specifically if we look at our
Indian culture; colour has a highlevel of interference in our lives.
We don't give importance tomany other things as compared
to what we give to colours. When
we cook food whether the taste isgood or not is secondary but it should come out with goodcolour. We look at the taste of tea later but first look at
the colour. The colour of our dress should also be good
whereas no attention is paid towards the quality of thedress. When it comes to selection of husband and wife, it is not seen whether they possesshumanity or not but importance is given to colour. The reason behind all this is that colour has
high interference in human pyschology.
Releasing Statements and Adverts
Releasing one after another with full flow statements, posters and pamphlets. In the name of
false groups coming out with supportive statements like Engineers and Doctors have supportedthem; Scholars, Ayatullah and Marjai'yat has also supported them. Similarly in the name of allpossible effective classes and groups in a society broadcasting false statements
Everyday in public through media or any others means like mass emailing or whatever meanspossible broadcasting statements that certain group has also extended their support to them.
They started this campaign against President Ahmedinjad that the Marajae and other big

personalities are against him and instead it has been said about this candidate (Moosavi) that so
and so is also his supporter. Several false groups were made and presented to show that they are
also his supporters.
Making false cases
It is amongst the instructions present in the book to make false cases. Amongst the 198
techniques mentioned in the book it is also written that you should register false cases that insuch a place such a thing has happened with us, our rights have been usurped. To make such
false cases to show to public that all this is happening.
Signature Campaign
Writing "Tumar"; this is a Persian terminology. The method of writing "Tumar" is to take a big
cloth and then getting signatures of ordinary people
on it hanging it in some big square of the city or in
some university or in some big public gathering. Bytaking signatures on this cloth to prove that public is
sign in rapidly and this is either an announcement ofsupport for the desired candidate or opposition to theundesired one.
Use of Symbolic Colours and things
This is very important that to take benefits from such slogans which are sacred for public and haspublic attention also in it. Green colour in Iran is a sign of someone
being a Sayyed. In Iran if you see someone in Green cap than you
should understand that he is Sayyed. This is only in Iran and notoutside else in Pakistan there are many with Green turbans they arenot Sayyed's. But in Iran and Afghanistan this is a culture that
Green colour is a sign for Sayyed and that too a Fatemi Sayyed. In
Muslims and specifically Shiite the respect of Sayyed is somethingvery important and it is more in Iran. This is a slogan and
symbolism in Iran and to benefit from this symbolism is amongst
the teachings of Gene Sharp. He says that you should use a symbolor slogan which is popular in that region and has a spiritual meaningfor the people and attracts people . Such should be benefited from
to prepare the public. And this was done in Iran and benefits were
taken from such symbolism.
Making use new technological means for negative propaganda
Specific and different forms of flags, posters and apart from this libraries, newspapers and
magazines should be benefitted from. In one of the television debates President Ahmedinjad saidto Mehdi Karroubi that you have paid two billon Tomans ( $ 2M) only for SMS in twenty days and
it is written in this book that you have to do this work with full resources.

By using Cassettes, CD's and latest technological means you should do negative propaganda inpublic . At this time the count and numbers which are presented says that approximately tenmillion CD's containing Anti Ahmedinjad material for his character and personality assassinationwere distributed across Iran. These ten million CD's did not contain any of his political issues but
all falsely made issues; like his four or five brother in laws were shown and said that they are allcorrupt and this was even said in the debates. In reply to this President Ahmedinjad said I onlyhave two brother in laws and even I don't know where did they got the remaining. Writing on
walls and chalking was also one of the tactics; and to despatch delegations in different areas.
Presenting awards to unpleased personalities
Presenting awards to different persons; like bringing forward certain name
sake personalities and telling others that they have received awards for
certain things like the Lady Shireen Ebadi who was not known to anyoneinside Iran and even outside Iran she had no role. All of a sudden she was
awarded with Noble Prize and she was supporting them in this mission; andlike this many such awards were given to many other personalities.
Accusations of rigging before the elections
In order to arouse people and for civil disobedience making noise prior to elections itself that
there will be rigging. The Supreme Leader while addressing the Naurooz gathering in Mashhadthree months before said that some have already started to say that there will be rigging in
elections. They had started to create an environment from that time when elections were not justfar but there were no talks also about elections. At that time the Supreme Leader strictly warned
that they should not talk such things. Such things are also amongst the important teachings ofthis book that you should create an environment of rigging well in advance because you have to
take advantage from this later. The three four countries discussed before also went through thesame and same thing happened there as well. Eduard Shevardnadze won the elections and the
opposition by starting rigging accusations on him started a campaign in favour of Mikheil
Saakashvili that rigging has taken place, then strikes and civil disobedience started eventually thevictorious candidate had to leave power.
In the same way Viktor Yarukovych in Ukraine had won the elections against Viktor Yushchenko
but they said there was rigging done and as a consequence elections were declared as void and
re-elections happened in which Victor Yushchenko won. Similarly they had exactly planned that inIran also it should happen the same way.
Becoming Oppressed
He also writes that you should present yourself as oppressed; this means the opposition shouldpresent themselves oppressed as much they can. He has
even written to this extent that for the sake of presentingyourself as oppressed even if you have to become naked
then you should become naked in open public; both menand women should become naked and this happened in
Tehran. Man and women came out completely naked forwhich pictures are also present. Commercial damages
and losses were incurred on people, disturbance and

panic was created so as to show that all this is done by the government.
Raising Slogans on Public Squares
Protesting in every possible form; going on roof tops and making noise in their own ways. Thishappened in all the countries and this is happening even till date in Tehran whereby they go on
roof tops and raise slogans of Allaho Akbar.
In this book one more technique has been mentioned that as a matter of protest you should keepthe headlights of your Cars on even during day time. They did this also in Tehran so as to show
that disobedience has taken up on a complete mass public scale.
Making funny cartoons of government authorities
Presenting to public the pictures of effective and favourite persons in different poses, styles and
making cartoons of opposing personalities; spreading taunts, jokes about them in public. In thisregards the number of jokes which were made about Ahmedinjad in this election campaign werenot made for anyone else even in hundred years in any other community.
Benefitting from Film Stars
Getting benefits from Film Stars because this thing proves out to be very effective on public. You
would have seen in Indian elections that whereverthe candidate used to go film stars would be with
them and the situation was such that it was difficultto understand who is the candidate and who is the
film star? and who are the people going to vote? Andthis is also present in this book. Anyhow in India
there was no velvet revolution and this is part of analready made system, and it was just quoted as an
example over here. But in Iran it was the first timethat film stars were brought into election campaign
and that too corrupted film stars who were giving this
impression that you are not free but chained and inprison. You do not have any form of freedom and youare not even eligible for freedom to breathe. Like if
you sit with taxi drivers, he will talk about
everything; right from the Leader down to the lowest scale he will talk against everyone and thenhe says there is no freedom in Iran. If there is no freedom then how is he speaking all this? Is
there freedom of this sort present anywhere else? that you can speak against everything. Despite
of having freedom this impression is given that thereis no freedom and in Tehran the supporters ofMoosavi raised this slogan that there is no freedom
and we want to give you freedom. And that slogan
was " NA MANTO NA ROOSARY RAHBARE MAMOOSAVI" ( No Monto (Hijab) , No Roosary (headscarf) , my leader is Moosavi). Manto is that long coat
which Iranian woman wear as Hijab and Roosary isthe head scarf used as Hijab. They meant to say that

when the period of Moosavi comes there will not beany need to wear Manto and Roosary. This has been forced on us , we have been forced to wearHijab and when Moosavi comes all these restrictions would be removed. The aim was to present
that everything has been forced upon you.
He has specified in this book that you should have processions and he also talks about theetiquettes and specifics of these processions as to what style you have to adopt in these
processions. What dress you should wear? What route you should follow? What slogans youshould raise? Gene Sharp has mentioned in his book all the
details of what act should be done where and in what style;and all these happened in Iran . He has even written on how
many types of strikes should be done? You have to fast; youshould have fast of silence. They came out with a procession
with bands tied on their faces and gave it the name o
procession of silence. Like carrying out strikes that too byvisiting haphazard places by standing, lying down, by sittingdown, by bending down and like this you should carry out
strikes in different ways.
Character Assassination of effective personalities
This has been mentioned before also that you have to do Character assassination of effective
personalities and those at very high posts and statusin Iran in different fields. Those personalities who arerespectable amongst the Iranian people and thepeople listen to everything they say their Character
Assassination should be done in the most severestform so that people stop listening to what they say
and in this context one example personality is that ofrespected teacher Ayatullah Misbah Yazdi. In Iran
specifically amongst the youths after the SupremeLeader the most effective personality is RespectedAyatullah Misbah Yazdi (d.a) . They did his utmost
character assassination so that the youths stop
getting impressed by him. This means at this timethe personality with whom the Baseej youths are highly impressed is this personality and there
are other personalities also.

The Ups and Downs of Revolution
Another point which is related to this discussion is that with all praise to Allah (s) the revolutionhas completed its thirty years and during these thirty years this revolution has gone throughmany phases. The era of revolutionary movement, the era of war, then came the nationalconstructive era after the war and in this constructive phase of revolution many ups and downs
came in several contexts . One thing which the entire world clearly witnessed in Iran was thatsome effective persons intentionally attempted to cool down the revolutionary atmosphereprevailing in the country and these persons on one side were also part of the system whereas on
the other hand they cooled down the revolutionary atmosphere.

The specialities of the era of Khatami
After the era of Khatami the election of Ahmedinjad as the President was not something ordinary.
This is because Khatami was a liberal person whose thoughts are clear to everyone that he is nota strong believer in religion from any aspect. In one of his Presidential addresses he said that
when religion and freedom confront each other face to face then under this situation we have toleave religion. Such kinds of talks he has done openly. His brother Mohammad Raza Khatami in
one of his speeches in Qom said that the biggest difficulty of the Iranian community is religionand unless we save our skin from religion this community cannot develop. These type ofindividuals and the teams were present with them and it can be said that there very few religious
persons amongst them. The support which Khatami had was from people like Hajjarian and many
others like him who are in jails now and those who went to Dubai for attending classes and arenow behind bars; people like Abtahi and people of his similitude.
Reconstruction of Revolution
The biggest disgraceful motive which Khatami adopted when his government was in power whasthat in the Nuclear issue there was global pressure on Iran that
they should leave this. And Khatami imposed a two years
restriction on Uranium enrichment in a voluntary way by his ownchoice. There was no global instiution who has instructed him to do
this. He in order to show good intentions and as a good willgesture placed these restrictions. This is the saying of Supreme
Leader that President Ahmedinjad has once again revived the pathof Imam (r.a), he has given life to it and once again revolution has
been bought back on its right course. In the past era's the feudalculture has developed a lot due to which the revolutionary
atmosphere also had cooled down a little. Today whatever you see
in Iran is a constructive environment the same way a car comesout from an accident after overhauling.
The stand of America in Revolution of Iran
The fundamental work which President Ahmedinjad did was to bring back this system on the linesof Imam (r.a.). He spoke to the world with the same courage and valour the same way Imam(r.a) used to talk. On this basis he was not accepted by them in any aspect. The Zionists,
American and Europe said before the elections that Ahmedinjad should not be re-elected at any
cost and we do not care anyone else coming in his place.
The Background of Election Candidates
The three candidates who came in opposition to Dr Ahmedinjad had Mehdi Karroubi who wasamongst the companions of Imam (r.a) in his era. He has been the head of Parliament and hasoffered several services to Iran. The second opposing candidate was Mir Hussein Moosavi who
during the time of war when the Supreme Leader was the president , he was the Prime Minister.
The third candidate was Mohsin Razaei who was the Commander in chief of the IslamicRevolutionary Guard Corps at the time of War. All the three were the top rank personalities whichimplies that there was none amongst the three who had a black past; they all had an excellent

past.
The current situation of the three Candidates
During this current period which has passed there has been several changes and these three
personalities were firm on one stand. Like Karroubi raised the slogan during elections that lawsshould be changed, Iran's constitution should be changed. His say was that certain points in the
constitution were not correct like women should also have the rights to become Wali-e-Faqeeh. Inthe previous election as well he raised the slogan that I will give every Iranian 50,000 Tomans. He has expressed such irresponsible things.
During the time of Holy Defence the commander in chief of the Revolutionary corps hadappreciable services but his current situation was that he presented the agenda of Iranian
communism in which Islam andRevolution were hardly present. He
has emphasized more on Iraniancommunism and he accused
Ahmedinjad that Ahmedinjad hasgiven more colour to Islamism andless to Iranians. Thus he said thatwe should tread the path of Korish
and he talked this and took the
name in his formal debates and inhis election campaigns he said weIranians should aim to again revive
Korish-e-Kabeer (for whom Shahalso said and his mausoleum is present in Takhte-Jamshed, Korish-e-Kabeer whom some evencall him Zulqarnain and in Quran also there is a mention about Zulqarnain and they consider him
as Korish-e-Kabeer).
Mir Hussein Moosavi had the maximum chance because he had the experience of governance and
had run a good and successful government before. But during this time his situation was suchthat around him the group which had formed was the same which was around Khatami. And in
this entire environment Rafsanjani had a fundamental role. Rafsanjani was the key personality ofrevolution and the Islamic system; his services for bringing the revolution is known to everyone,
he remained in Jail also, he had multitudes of revolutionary steps and also his duties after the
revolution. Even the supreme leader has also appreciated him but he has his own specificthoughts towards which the Supreme Leader pointed in his Friday sermon that he has hi ownspecific thoughts and his services cannot be denied; but the thoughts which he possesses do not
harmonize with the thoughts of the leader. The Supreme Leader said briefly in his Friday Sermon
that I have a difference in thoughts with him and even Ahmedinjad also has difference in thoughts
with him (Rafsanjani); then the leader also said the thoughts and opinions of Ahmedinjad aremore closer to that of mine.
The threat of personalities overcoming laws
Personalities keep on going up and down but you should remember a principle about personalities
that when personalities become bigger than laws then these personalities become dangerous. Any
personality who attempts to go ahead of laws or tries to become bigger then religiousjurisprudence laws is dangerous. This is not an issue of today because this difficulty is going on

since the advent of Islam that certain personalities became so big that they became bigger thanShariah (Islamic laws) and religion. When they become big than Shariah can change but the
personalities won't change. The same issue happened here also that certain personalities got the
opportunity and they delivered services when they had power and authority but as an outcome ofthese service or under the veil of these services the personality went so much ahead and grew somuch that now this personality is effective on everything. In the stage of personalities to
overcome the system and revolution is a most unbearable stage which even the Islam could not
overcome after the demise of Holy Prophet (s) and the obstacle of personalities came in front of itwhich is still standing till date. Islam could not pass over the personalities. With all praise to Godthe revolution went through this stage . Whatever difficulties coming in the form of personalities
or walls coming in front of it the revolution would overcome them.
It is impossible to attack Iran
Whatever happened here was that there was a complete planning from outside about the need fora change in Iran. The enemy is pursuing for an attack on Iranand they will never attack. The reason for this is that Iran isvery strong in terms of Defence and no other power can dare to
attack Iran. The mistake which they have done once could notbe compensated till date. Iran despite of all obstacles andboycotts have a very strong defensive system. This is ensured
that the day they see any possibility of success they will not
delay in attacking Iran. If they are not attacking this does notmean that they can attack but are not attacking, it means theycannot attack. It is not possible for them to attack.
American Formula for changes in Iran
The drawbacks of attacking Iran for them is that in Iran there is a high degree of communism and
nationalism for both revolutionary or non revolutionary type person. Any attack from outside willunite all Iranians hence they have decided to a large extent we will bring the changes from inside
Iran itself and to bring changes from inside the most suitable atmosphere was that of electionsand for this attempted to repeat the successful experiments done in other countries. They
selected the best individuals who were really best persons before who had services for revolutionbut in this stage of examination they failed and they did not deliver their obligations successfully.
They were enticed because power was their weakness and they were desirous of power. The
enemies benefitted from this weakness point of theirs.
The suitable environment for the success of Velvet Revolution
The Supreme Leader said in his sermon that Iran is not Georgia and it is your misunderstanding
that you consider Iran as Georgia. The success of velvet revolution needs a specific atmosphere;it is not successful everywhere. This is successful in places where governments are imposed from
outside on public and governments are not formed by the public. Just like the countries separated
from Russia where the velvet revolution was successful because the public had not selected thesegovernments it was due to circumstances that in most cases Russia has imposed thesegovernments on the pubic which means Russia got the government for its supporting persons. In
order to be effective Russia has applied pressure and has formed its own lobby of governments in
its nearby countries whereas the situation in Iran was different. Their think tanks had made agood theory but when they came to implement it the mistake they did was that they selected a

land which had no linkage with their theory. It is like making a theory for a hot area and thenapplying it in a cold country or making a theory for cold regions and then applying in in hot areas;
under such situations it will be a failure.
Impossibility of Rigging in Iran Elections
There is no doubt that this planned Velvet revolution had to fail which means that this was not
such a big crisis the way it has been presented by the media to the world. There is a specialelection system for elections in Iran. Vote Rigging can happen in any other system in the worldbut in Iran there is no possibility of any vote rigging. The reason for this is that they have
designed such a system by which the possibility of vote rigging comes down to very low and even
if someone desires to do than also he cannot do.
The results of Survey report
The survey reports prior to elections revealed that Ahmedinjad will win
the elections; this was because Ahmedinjad in his four years tenure hadspent less time in Tehran and more time in other parts of Iran whereasthe earlier presidents used to spent most of their time in Tehran. The
previous Presidents even in a collective way in their four years tenurewould have spent hardly few weeks in other parts of Iran but if you lookat this person in his four years he had spent almost three years in other
provinces, settlements and villages with the people and just spent one
year in Tehran. A person who is associated with the public in this wayand the public has seen him closely and witnessed his services haspeoples' trust and confidence in him. Ahmedinjad did not even run an
election campaign in fact he did not had an election campaign office; it
was the people who have run the election campaign for him on their own.He did not setup any campaign office for himself and neither did he
appoint someone to run his campaign whereas in his opposition as it was mentioned before onecandidate has spent $ 2 million on just sending SMS messages and other expenses of theirs can't
just be counted.
Discovery of the Conspiracy of Velvet Revolution
Sayed Amir Hoosein Mahdavi was in Moosavi's election campaign and was the chief editor of the
newspaper launched by Moosavi by the name "Andishe No". This person has confessed in front o
everyone and has specified all the details in a press conference that all these things were pre-planned. He said that in Dubai there was classes organized with so and so persons and their wives
have attended these classes and they were formally trained. All these things were in phases andwe were told what we have to do and we were aware that we will be loosing the elections. We
were not going to win through votes hence the Velvet Revolution was already pre-planned. Themeaning of Velvet Revolution itself is that your Candidate will loose but you should not accept his
defeat instead say votes were rigged; make noise about rigging to the extent that everyone
becomes certain that there was rigging. You should be firm and stubborn on just on thing thatelections should be annulled ; apart from this you should not accept anything and just raise oneslogan that elections should be annulled. As per laws in every country if after elections you have
objections then you should lodge a complaint with proofs. In Iran also there is a Guardian Council
which supervises the election candidates, election procedures, laws and parliament analyzes thesecomplaints and if any errors get manifested then it formally announces and if rigging has

happened somewhere than it annuls that.
The Guardian council has ten days of time to receive complaints and analyzer them. In the recentelections also the candidates were also asked to come and lodge their complaints but none of thethree defeated candidates came. The Guardian Council after seeking permission from theSupreme Leader extended the opportunity period of ten days to fifteen so that they can come and
lodge their complaints but in these five days also they did not go and just kept on repeating onething that elections should be annulled. This is because in the book of laws (of Velvet Revolution)it was written that you should not accept the results of election and just be firm on one demand
that elections were void and re-elections should take place. It is evident that once the elections
are declared as void than public understands that it means some irregularities and rigging hadtaken place and as a result of this the sympathies of people change.
The matchless and unique elections of World
Under complete planning with the help of external means, elements and media they tried tocreate an atmosphere here though they knew that such things don't work in Iran; in Iran the
revolution is people's own admired revolution; it is a revolution supported by the people andpeople are with this system. In the entire world the record of 85% voting is not present
anywhere. You can see the world's biggest democracies like India and America; even here thetotal vote counts
does not exceed
45%. In America therecord turn out is up
to 60%. Theelections in which
Bush, Clinton andObama were elected
turnout was very lowand if you look at our
country it is difficult
to even achieve 30%turnout. It was thefirst time the world
witnessed that 85%
voters have voted.40 million voters out of 45 million came to vote and out of this 40 million voters 24 million votedfor Ahmedinjad whereas the other candidates together got 14 million votes out which 13 million
was for Moosavi and Razaei did not even had 1 million votes. Since he was the ex commander ofRevolutionary Guards he got 600,000 votes and Karroubi got 300,000 votes. After gathering just300,000 votes a person claims that election should be annulled because the one who has wonwith 24 million votes is not correct; and 40 million votes should be made void?
The biggest news for Zionists
In reality it was their weakness that they wanted power at any cost. They thought that the
external atmosphere created is for them and they will reap benefits out of it. They thought of
applying pressure through media, Europe and other places and as a result of this pressure thesystem will submit and then whether we are elected or not at least we will save our skin fromAhmedinjad. Ehud Barak who was the ex prime minister of the Zionist movement in Israel and the
current Defence Minister said that the biggest news I have heard from the time I was born till

date was the re-election of Ahmedinjad. Apart from this if you look at the statements of Western
leaders everyone was saying the same thing. The reason behind this was that it was as per theplan that everyone should speak the same and everyone had the same control room and from this
control room the same words were delivered from everyone's mouth.
Referendum in support of Revolution
This was a big devilish planning and with all praise
to Allah the revolution has come out of it and is
even more strong today. According to the SupremeLeader of Islamic Revolution these 40 million voteswas the referendum for Revolution, it has proven
that though 24 million are with Ahmedinjad but all
40 million are with revolution. These 40 million werenot with velvet revolutionaries, they were not withthose candidates but in reality they were with the
revolution and supporters of revolution.
If 40 million out of 45 million voters from a country with 70 million population cast votes andprove that we are with this revolution that revolution cannot be eradicated with this velvet
revolution.
The Islamic Revolution will join the revolution of Imam-e-Asr
This election and the re-election of President Ahmedinjad has proved that it is the intention o
Allah (s) that this revolution remains alive and just as the founder of this revolution ImamKhomeini (r.a) has said that God willing this revolution will join the revolution of Imam Mehdi
(a.t.f.s). This is because the revolution of Imam Mehdi (a.t.f.s) is not an accidental phenomenon
the way it has been set in our minds that one day sky will split apart , trumpet will be blown andthe entire world will change. It is not like this, all this will happen gradually; gradually nations willchange, gradually nations will be awakened and with this gradually awakening after awakening of
different nations a time will come when the entire global nation (Ummah) will become one united
nation and at that time will be the need of Imam (a.t.f.s) and then the reigns of the Ummah(nation) will come in the hands of Imam (a.t.f.s). This process of awakening by the will of God isongoing and rumours which they are spread for the eradication of revolution with these things the
revolution will never ever be eradicated.
The role of personalities in Islamic System
An important issue which comes in minds as an obstacle and creates a disturbance in minds is
that of personalities. Until unless we achieve that level of maturity to follow criterions andstandards; to measure on standards understanding issues becomes a disturbance becauseunderstanding and analyzing issues is not something easy.
From the advent of Islam till date the major disturbances that had developed have been mostlydue to personalities. Montazari was a big personality and successor of Imam Khomeini (r.a) and
formally selected by the Majlis-e-Khobragan as the Supreme Leader after Imam (r.a).The servicesof Montazari towards the revolution cannot be forgotten. The person who has suffered the utmost

difficulties during the revolution is Montazari; heremained in Jail, he continued his protest and resistance in prisons, he was exiled from country, suffered calamities, his son was martyred and he has multitudes of services which are not hidden
or concealed from anyone. But for this same Montazari Imam (r.a) specified that he is not worthy
of carrying the trust of this revolution because certain acts and dubious things have been done byhim. This is because a non infallible person is a non infallible. It should not happen that thepersonalities become part of pyschology; we should not allow personalities to become part of our
self. Any community in which a personality becomes a part of their existence that community willnever be able to go beyond that personality.
Today if you give thousands of evidence to the Muslims about Ameerul Momineen (a.s) that as
per the Muslim Caliphs itself Ali (a.s) was a superior personality than them but still they are notwilling to accept it. Why? This is because the Caliphs have become part of their self and existence
and in their vision going beyond Caliphs is equivalent to exiting from Islam though it is not likethis. The case of infallibles is different; Allah (s) has kept the matter of Prophets and Infallibles
separate but for non infallible personalities we need to look at their actions and see what it is? Inpersonalities ups and down keep on coming. The biggest example which we have seen with our
eyes is that of Montazari that Imam (r.a) separated him by his own hands and said that you are
not beneficial for the revolution and the reality was that for the sake of revolution the decision of
Imam (r.a) was correct. He had many good qualities but certain deficiencies get developed insidepersonalities due to which all the good qualities are perished are they become ineffective. And this
issue is present within revolutionaries and community ambassadors and will remain.
The Supreme Leader of Islamic Revolution often uses two Persian words "Reezish wa Roozish" ."Roozish" is like blossoming of leaves in spring and when in autumn the leaves fall; this falling ofleaves is "Reezish". This falling of leaves in autumn and blossoming in spring is an ongoing
process. It is possible that a task is started by someone and he takes it to a certain stage after
which he gets tired or misguided or deviates or something happens and from here the burden ofthis task is taken over by someone else and he takes it towards completion. This has happened in
history and will keep on happening.
A Lessonful example from History
We take an example of a historic personality whose past was very beautiful but his end was very
bad and he is Zubair ibn Awam. Talha and Zubair whose names are always taken together wereboth famous and esteemed personalities. The Holy Prophet (s) has awarded both of them with
titles and in the advent of Islam both had rendered great services. The Messenger (s) gave the
title of "Sword of Islam" to Zubair. It is an incident of battle of Ohud which you very often listenand raise slogans that some people ran away from there, if you would have been present therewhat would you do? Are you not running away in our era? They only ran from one battle of Ohud
but we run away from every battle. Every year we run away from participating in the procession
of Qods. One who is running away for sixty years and is not seen in any battle or struggle laughson those who only ran away once. What rights he who is running away since sixty years has tolaugh on those who only ran away once? The rights to laugh is with those who always remain firm
and had never ran away. In this battle everyone left the Messenger (s) except for three personswho till the end kept on protecting him. One was Ameerul Momineen (a.s) , second was one morepersonality and third was Zubair. Zubair did not ran from there and he was not those who wouldrun away. He remained firm there and was aware that he will get martyred there but he did not
ran away from Martyrdom. This was the achievement of Zubair and he was the one coming outsuccessful from encounters everywhere. He used to be forward in every encounter, in the firstrank and was a brave warrior. When Holy Prophet (s) departed from the world all the supporters
of Ameerul Momineen (a.s) left him except for few amongst these few who remained with him

was Zubair. When they came to set fire to Ameerul Momineen's (a.s) house at that time amongst
the few persons present inside the home was Zubair. At that time no one came out except Zubairwho came out alone with his sword to fight with them. He attacked them; they caught Zubair andbeat him brutally that he became unconscious than they took his sword and broke it by bashing it
on a stone. Then at the time of demise of Lady Zahra (s.a) she said to Ameerul Momineen (a.s)
that I am going to make a very tough testament now which might be difficult for you to fulfil. Itmight not be possible for you to fulfil it (because Ameerul Momineen (a.s) was facing such
political situations) so please tell me so that I can make Zubair my inheritor (for this testament)and he will act upon my testament. Then when the council gathering happened for the third
Caliph selection the first person to speak out in support of Ali (a.s) was Zubair. The momentmeeting started Zubair immediately said my vote is for Ali (a.s), my leader is Ali (a.s). Then
Ameerul Momineen (a.s) said about Zubair
"Zubair has always been with us but when his son Abdullah ibn Zubair had grown up he movedhis got his father on a different path".
Zubair was a big personality and his son got him away from the path. It is possible that therecould be a big personality whose children get him away like this from the Right Path. We have
several examples of this whereby the children are deviated due to which the parents also deviatefrom the right path just like this one example of Zubair. When no one was present to protect theHoly Prophet (s) he came forward, he was present for protecting Ameerul Momineen (a.s); hecame out with his sword, was beaten brutally and thrashed. At the time when Ameerul Momineen
(a.s) got governance Zubair had become very famous and rich. The details of his wealth and
assets are written in books. He went to Ameerul Momineen (a.s) and demanded to make him thegovernor of Kufa or Basra. When Ameerul Momineen (a.s) did not involve them in his governmentthey went into opposition and in the battle of Jamal he joined hands with the enemies. He was the
one who started the battle of Jamal but later when Ameerul Momineen (a.s) reminded him of thetradition of Messenger (s) and gave some evidences he remembered, repented and left the battle. But the moment he left the battlefield one tribe caught and assassinated him. Ameerul Momineen
(s.a) went on the corpse of Zubair and with great desire, regret and grief he said how bad has
been your end which means such a great life, such a good past, so many services but today thisis your situation.
Personalities are like this only always in state of lapses hence anytime it can deviate in any
direction. And specifically power and fame are two such thingswhich deviates and misguides man. When someone becomes a
captive of power, fame and develops its taste just like Zubair who
became very famous and then he developed a desire to come intopower. Who developed this taste of power inside Zubair? He neverhad this desire than who developed this inside him?
One was his son and second was the Governor of Damascus whowrote a letter to Zubair that; if you can defeat Ali than I will doallegiance on you as our Caliph and I have already started theactivities in Damascus to prepare for your allegiance. This is where
Zubair got the lust of becoming the Commander of Faithful, I want
to become the Caliph of Muslims. The enemy threw the trappingseed from outside and the desire for power was already present
inside. He was the same sacrificing Zubair, the one givingeverything in the way of Allah; the same warrior and brave Zubair,
the same revolutionary Zubair, Zubair the defender of Ahlulbayt(a), the Sword of Islam, but on one side wealth, fame, power and the doubtful whispers from

outside that if you solve our problem we can bring you in power. He got trapped in this and by
getting trapped the end was so bad.
The divine insight of Imam Khomeini (r.a)
Imam Khomeini (r.a) first prepared his last testament and than later did some modifications in it.
What were these modifications? The few things which Imam (r.a) modified amongst them wasone sentence in which he said "I have appreciated and praised many persons in my life because
their activities were very good but you should not go by my appreciations, you should look at
everyone's current situation, you should look at everyone and see what he is today? Where is hestanding today? And what is he doing today?"
The System of Wilayat is unrecognized by West
For us, the axis is "Wilayat" but this is the mistake of West that they do not understand thissystem. They think that they bring in a President of their choice and can do anything they want.
They did this experiment; Khatami was the President of their choice and in regards toreligiousness Mir Hoosein Moosavi is more religious than Khatami; Khatami was not obedient to
many things prescribed by religion. You have brought the President of your choice and bysupporting him for eight years you have seen that you could not do anything because thesupreme power here is the Supreme Leader, the Wali-e-Amr Al Muslameen; here nothing can be
achieved without the involvement of Wali-e-Amr Al Muslameen. The President only comes here forproviding services and administration; not to make or change policies. All the policies are with theSupreme Leader.
We have a criterion and standard over here for anyone whether he is within the country oroutside; if he is a supporter of Wilayat he will be considered as a revolutionary and one who is
under the control of Wilayat is revolutionary.
Rafsanjani wrote a disgusting insulting letter to the Supreme Leader which did not even startedwith greetings (Salaam). There are certain etiquettes of writing letter and he did not writeanything; not even Respectful Sir, etc; he did not write anything. He wrote " The Leader of
Revolution! These days the situation is such, I am not in agreement with the situation, You are
also sitting silent and I have a doubt that there is a storm and a boiling Lava which is about toerupt. He gave a sort of threat and while ending the letter did not even write "Salaam". Thecriteria is not Personality but it is following of Wilayat.
Everything remains till the System of Wilayat persists
If the President remains, Iran remains but God forbid if Wilayat does not remain than nothing will
remain. And if everything gets sacrificed but Wilayat remains than everything remains. Hencealways remain a supporter of Wilayat-e-Faqeeh, be
under the control and obedience of Wilayat-e-Faqeeh.The one who is obedient to Wilayat-e-Faqeeh he is
respected and dear; whereas one who is not obedient toWilayat-e-Faqeeh he is not obedient to Wilayat and
hence he is not dear and respected for us.

Thus we pray to Allah (s) that he should grant a good end to those who had a good past andshould give them a divine opportunity to return back in the lap of Wilayat and become anobedient of Wilayat. Do not give the world a chance to do mockery though from their mouths no
damage will happen to Wilayat as the Supreme Leader has also said.
The Revolution is more stronger than before.
We have pointed towards ten crisis here whereas Iran has seen nearly thirty big crisis. After these
crisis it is not that the revolution just did not weaken but in fact it became stronger. Therevolution was not as strong before as it is today. Today you would have seen the changed accentof the Supreme Leader because the back of the Leader was never as strong before as it is today.
The Leader never got a strong supporter like President Ahmedinjad and this is the reason that
today there is a change in the Leader's accent also. The Supreme Leader has openly said thosethings which he never said before.
The need of Global Support for Revolution
You have seen that within Iran that the supporters of Leader have protected the Leader whereasthe Leader has protected the revolution. In the same way the defence of revolution is essential in
every corner of the world. There is a velvet revolution going on within Iran but outside Iran
against the revolution there is severe, hot and astonishing movement going on. Many attemptsare being made to defame revolution and revolutionary personalities. There were some who wereagainst Montazari but the day Montazari went against the revolution they became his well
wishers. Even today there are such persons present who know nothing about Mir Hoosein Moosavi
they have heard his name first time but it is possible that they will somehow become hissupporters or those people who do not follow or obey the Supreme Leader will become the
supporters of Moosavi. You should not get trapped by the propaganda of these whispering Satans
who want to confuse and bewilder people; at times they say why did President Ahmedinjad tookthe name of someone? When the Leader himself is saying that my line (of thoughts) is separatefrom him then there is no need to induce these doubts that why someone's name was taken and
why someone's name was not taken? Why did this happen and that happen? These talks are justto make the minds doubtful and suspicious. This revolution remains till the time the system of
Wilayat-e-Faqeeh remains and till the time the obedient nation (Ummah) of Wilayat-e-Faqeeh
remain Wilayat-e-Faqeeh will also remain and the obedient nation (Ummah) of Wilayat-e-Faqeehremains till the time the help from Allah is with this nation (Ummah). Till the time this nation(Ummah) is present across the world God willing no one can cause any damage to this revolution.
The Journey of successful nations and our responsibilities
In Iran by the grace of Allah there are such individuals present who are supporters of revolutionin every difficulty and to protect the revolution Allah (s) has given them this responsibility. The
responsibility which we have to deliver that is a more difficult front. In Iran there is an already setrevolution and there the system of Wilayat-e-Faqeeh needs to be preserved. We have to stillteach Wilayat-e-Faqeeh to people. Today there is a nation (Ummah) who has learnt the system ofWilayat-e-Faqeeh , implemented it and is busy in defending it whereas we are facing a nation
(Ummah) who is still questioning why do use the term Imam for Imam Khomeini (r.a). Just seethe gap. We have to do this journey , cover up this gap and reach where Hizbullah has reachedtoday and we are still arguing on how was Hizbullah formed? They ask whether it was formed by
using the formula of Abdul Sattar Eidhi (Welfare activities)? Was it formed by fighting elections

like Fazlur Rahman or was it formed by learning and teaching English language like Sir SayedAhmed? If you are unaware and you don't know about Hizbullah than you can yourself ask the
leader of Hizbullah on how did you become Hizbullah? How did you achieve this success? And he
will repeat only one sentence that We become Hizbullah with the obedience and following ofWilayat-e-Faqeeh. If we are successful today than our success is due to our obedience to Wilayat-e-Faqeeh. Today if the world is afraid of us than the reason behind is that we are under the
control and obedience of the Supreme Leader.
We have to do this journey and we have to show this journey to our nations. The encounter whichis in Iran is that there the people are fighting against the circumstances and you have seen how
they have been fighting and they will keep on struggling. At this time the Iranian nation has givena proof of very high sensibility and those nations who possess such high s
