Gathering in Sanctuary
* Opening Prayer Angela Hallman
* Prayer by the Congregation Father, we come to celebrate the dedication of this Family Life Center. Send your Spirit upon us that we may reflect your holi-ness. Make us living temples within this building and help us to share this place with those who need to see you through us. Amen.
* Responsive Reading Psalm 24
The earth is the Lord’s and everything in it.
The world and all its people belong to him.
For he laid the earth’s foundation on the seas
and built it on the ocean depths.
Who may climb the mountain of the Lord?
Who may stand in his holy place?
Only those whose hands and hearts are pure,
Who do not worship idols and never tell lies.
They will receive the Lord’s blessing
And have right standing with God their savior.
They alone may enter God’s presence
And worship the God of Israel.
Open up, ancient gates!
Open up, ancient doors,
And let the King of glory enter.
Who is the King of glory?
The Lord, strong and mighty,
The Lord, invincible in battle.
Open up, ancient gates!
Open up, ancient doors,
And let the King of glory enter.
Who is the King of glory?
The Lord Almighty, he is the King of glory.

Deck the Halls with Boughs of Holly – fa la la la la la la la la……—Yep! It’s that time again….time to start getting ready for the Christmas season by learning the special music. Come to choir practice starting Wednesday, September 30th at 7:00 p.m. We will be starting our Christmas cantata and you are WELCOME to join us!!! We will dedicate the first 30 minutes of practice to the cantata, so if you only want to be a part of the seasonal music – that’s OK. I think you might, how-ever, just get addicted to the fun of choir! No experience is necessary and you don’t have to think you sing well to come have fun making a joyful noise with the choir! We will take care of all those details. You never have to sing by yourself if you don’t want to and I’ll teach you everything you need to know. Janet Gepetto’s Pizza Night will be on Thursday, October 1st, from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. Gepetto’s will donate 10% of the sales back to our Building Fund.
