for the young enthusiasts to share ideas and exchange thoughts on Sustainable development that
spreads awareness towards the Global Goals shared by United Nations to foster and achieve
harmony between environment sustainability, economic sustainability and socio-political
sustainability. The two-day exhibition also encouraged students to think, communicate, collaborate
and be digitally literate. It aimed to foster futuristic learning through the various projects and
assignments done by the students that reflects the four goals, namely Good Health and well-being,

DPS aims to educate the child as a whole, adding values
and principles to their intellectual development. The
Senior Kindergarten of DPS, Miyapur conducted a Fancy
dress competition on 19th
November 2018 on community
helpers.
Children were dressed like doctors, policeman, nurse,
teachers, store keeper, plumber and advocate. Each child
spoke a few words to explain the role of community helpers in the society. Few children expressed
the reason for choosing the costume while few imitated the personality they choose and delivered
dialogues. Children exhibited their colourful costumes, props and spoke with confidence. Children
were judged on different parameters. This competition served as an opportunity for children to
understand the diversity in the community and the dignity of labour. It was aptly said by
Albert Einstein — 'I never teach my pupils, I only attempt to provide the conditions in which they
can learn.'
We, the Kindergarten wing of DPS Miyapur heartily congratulate the winners of the fancy dress
competition.
