Rules
Indoor tiebreak
Following some confusion over the rules regarding tiebreaks at
indoor archery tournaments, World Archery has issued the
following clarification: “The decision made by World Archery’s
board in 2017 and that came into effect on 1 April 2018 to add a
second shoot-off if both recurve archers shoot a 10 or both
compound archers shoot an X10 only applies to outdoor events.”
The single-arrow shoot-off is still used indoors.

Cancellation of Seoul Open
World Archery and the Seoul Archery Association have come to
an agreement to withdraw the Seoul Open from the Indoor
World Series Calendar for this 2018-2019 season. Less than a
month before the event, the number of entries was not high
enough to justify a 500-level event and therefore the organiser
was not in a position to guarantee the required prize money.
Athletes who had registered to the Seoul Open will be contacted
directly with further information.

won gold medals at the Macau Indoor Archery Open, the second
leg of the 2019 Indoor Archery World Series and secured the
maximum available 250 ranking points towards qualification for
the circuit final. It was the first international indoor tournament
to take place in China.

and Braden Gellenthien also won individual titles in Rome.
Faith Miller, who set the Indoor Archery World Series’ third
world record in as many events during qualification at the Roma
Trophy, finished top of the compound junior women’s event.
Kalle Numminen, Olha Shubkina and Matteo Canovai also won
junior titles.
Italian archers Marco Pontremolesi and Iuana Bassi won the
