SAVVY SENIORS 1st and 3rd Wednesdays, 2 p.m. Admission: Complimentary Boone High School students teach seniors the tricks of the trade when it comes to the new age technology. Learn more about your cell phone, computer or tablet, internet and even social media. Space is limited, so be sure to grab your seat early. PINOCHLE Tuesdays and Thursdays, 8:30 a.m. - 2 p.m. Admission: Complimentary Join the Pinochle group, socialize and learn how to play. e group begins to show up at 8:30 a.m. and plays as long as they like. Bring breakfast goodies if you’d like and a lunch if you plan to stay the entire day. e group welcomes newcomers and will teach this easily learned game. It’s a great way to meet new friends and keep your brain active. CHRISTMAS PARTY Friday, December 15, 2 p.m. Admission: Complimentary Join us for Beardall's Christmas Party. Win Christmas presents from our Santa calling Christmas Bingo. Refreshments will be served; provided by Davita Medical Group, National Association of Mental Illness, Lake Eola Charter School and CarePlus Medical Plans. Beardall Senior Center will be closed Monday, December 25 and Tuesday, December 26 for the Christmas holiday and will reopen on Wednesday, December 27, 2017. We will

also be closed on Monday, January 1, 2018 for the New Year.

AARP Driver Safety Program2nd Saturday of each month at 10 a.m. Cost: $15 (members) and $20 (non-members). Class is all day - bring a lunch. Make checks or money orders payable to AARP. Certificate of completion is good for a possible car insurance discount - renewable every 3 years. Call 407.246.4440 to reserve a seat in the class. Class on Saturday, October 14, 2017 will be for Spanish speaking participants only.
