The St. Joseph Ladies Altar Society will have an im-portant meeting concerning membership and future fundraisers on Thursday, Dec. 28 at 3pm at St. Joseph Hall. All members are encouraged to attend.

ENGAGED COUPLES Spend a weekend away from the cares and distractions

of everyday living. Attend a Catholic Engaged Encounter Weekend. The

weekend is open to any engaged couple wanting to prepare for a deeper more

meaningful life together in a marriage recognized by the Catholic Church

according to its Church law. Upcoming weekend dates are January 12-

Egan Knights of Columbus 6959 are selling tickets for a “Pre Lent Fish Fry” for Jan. 14. The dinner consists of fried fish, French fries, a dinner roll and dessert. Pickup time is 10am til 1pm at St. Michael Church Hall. Cost is $8.00 and can be purchased

from any Egan KC member or thru the church office.

The annual CDA Education Contest is open to

all students in grades 4-12 and adults. If you

are interested in entering, a form is available in

the foyer or at the parish office. Entries are due

by Jan. 15. Cash prizes for winning entries are

awarded by the local, state and national CDA Courts.
