LANCIA AURELIA: Dino V6 Bi-Turbodiesel/Hybrid Dear Lapo, The first thing I want to say, is that after having met Professor Fabio Torre in 2006 and hearing about your overdose and near death experience, the only thing which wen through my mind was worry (how odd, because we’ve never actually met), and I still am concerned for your well being above all else. I am fighting my own battle, and it is not with drugs, but the perception that I have mental illness AND drug problems, when that happens not to be the case. I won’t bore you with the gory details. In my mind, you are my [best friend:='MACHIAVELLI' and the SCION of Alfa Romeo]. In the deal i proposed, in exchange for the AURORA POWERPLANT I from OLDSMOBILE AURORA ALFA, I also negotiate the switch from HONDA to OLDSMOBILE for the Indy Races. In exchange, I receive the MASERATI V8, and option to design the Quattroporte, 220S and 300S to go against the 166M from Ferrari (with help from Pininfarina, of course)

LANCIA AURELIA: Dino V6 Bi-Turbodiesel/Hybrid

Dear Lapo,

The first thing I want to say, is that after having met Professor Fabio Torre in 2006 and hearing about your overdose and near death experience, the only thing which wen through my mind was worry (how odd, because we’ve never actually met), and I still am concerned for your well being above all else.

I feel funny kind of telling you what we're planning without him.  However, there was a large article about him in CAR Magazine (*Can he save FIAT?*), which will give you a good idea of what he's like.

Ringrazzi: @dino_llc (*do you believe in love at first sight?*)

As much as I love ZAGATO, I am still angry at Fisker and Zagato’s creation of the Aston Martin DB7 Zagato (100 examples) and the DB7 AM1 “Speedster” (100

examples). I suppose Zagato had no idea, at the time, that the original concept was mine.

P.S. I know you were born in New York and schooled in London and Italy, but you and I have some behind closed doors discussion to pursue (*bring your lawyer, or not, if you trust me*), so that I don't come out looking like a fool.  Nor will you next timie Vanity Fair Magazine has a "best dressed" list.  You wouldn't want to be dethroned, if you could just have been wearing DINO anyway.

dbock1: it actually makes all the sense in the world.  in germany, bmw is the premium brand, and their m carry even more cachet because of the racing heritage. audi, though it seems to have caught up, only recently launched its R8, which is it's spiritual successor to the BMW M1, which led to the M5.  Mercedes, on the other hand, bought AMG and invested in a line of small volume build high performance cars.  In the eyes of most Germans (many of whom still see the S-Class as old man's car), you begin to understand why a much more ubiquitous Porsche 993 costs less than the more rare e30 M3.

Same goes for the comparison between the performance of a Ferrari Modena v. BMW Z8 0-60 and 1/4 mile times/trap speeds. what about price? the rate of change of the secondary market of the vehicle? the number of (relative risk_percentage of) loyal and repeat buyers compared with production total? ratio of how often one is sold over time annual turnver/total production or total in existence? brand equity linked to racing heritage? value of the trademark which is the brand? The fact that one can be viewed as an INVESTMENT, as it almost always APPRECITATES IN VALUE over time (and always has a 6 year waiting list, meaning I’ll never see one in my driveway, assuming I ever get a house).

Unless you guys are looking for womething to do with that Alpina factory and brand. I've got LOOOOOOOTS of IDEAS.  Including where DINO might be built (Lancia in Europe and U.S....Lancia Aurelia:='Cunningham C7') as well as the Veloce and Quadrofoglio versions of the Alfa Milano (BMW 3) the Alfa 1300 GTA (1 Series). Mainstream production is in Turin, and vehicles are exported to the United States.

Note to self: The Chrysler Imperial and the next 300 will be more AIRFLOW.  In Europe only, all three will be badged LANCIA, and all Chrysler dealerships will disappear.  The MUV [My Life as a Dog: Vision of Love], with the hood scoop (front shot only) will be the LANCIA DELTA INTEGRALE (*borrowing styling features from the Ferrari 456Modificata, not the "Subaru Imprezza, losers*)

P.S. my vost for hotest hottie? Linda Evangelista with Christie Turlington and Kate Moss in a tight second and third. My love for Lapo is like that of a BROTHER: a “man crush”. His views, political and otherwise, are much like mine, and he worked for someone who I really admire (and would still like the opportunity to meet), Henry Kissinger. We have so much in common, it’s kind of scary.
