HI GIANNIS,

What are you doing? I am writing to describe to you something about traditions and landmarks in Romania. I hope you enjoy reading this.

Now, I will speak about traditional costumes. In Romania are a lot of different types of costumes, because every region has hers. In my region is one of the biggest folk regions. Today, a strong majority of Romanians wear Western-style on most occasions, and the garments described here largely fell out of use during the 20th century. Romanian traditional clothing can be classified according to seven traditional regions. My region is named Banat and is one of the most important. The men wears ,, ciorapi,, like pants (these are peasant trousers that fit tightly around the leg. The women wears ,, fota,, . This can be made of two pieces of woven material.

In Romania you can visit many landmarks like castles. The biggest castle in Romania is Bran Castle, but there you can find another one like Peles and Pelisor Castle. Both were residence of Romanian kings and queens. The Danube Delta is another landmark you can see. It is the largest delta in Europe and the most beautiful. Also, the statue of Dacian king Decebalus is a 40-m high statue which is located on the Danube's rocky bank, near the city of Orsova, Romania. It is

something very rare in the world. In Banat, in my city you can see the Locomotive Museum in the open air, the only one in Europe. It is not too large, but there are ancient locomotives.

Finally. That is all about my country. I hope you like this and please write me back soon and tell me about Greece.
