Smith Travel: where in the world would you like to go?Dear Alumnae, Parents and Friends of Smith:For nearly 40 years, Smith Travel has provided Smith alumnae and their families and friends with enriching educational travel experiences. Whether you choose to go on a river cruise, a land trip, a wildlife program or a multigenerational custom-designed adventure, Smith Travel fosters the spirit of intellectual inquiry that was kindled when you were a student at Smith.
Our mission at Smith Travel is to create dynamic international and domestic itineraries that offer unique access to diverse regions and cultures in the company of other intrepid, curious and engaging travelers. We know how hard it can be to plan a relaxing and memorable trip, so we take the stress out of travel by working with carefully selected tour operators who have an intimate knowledge of the chosen destinations.
In 2015, we had our most successful year ever with 475 travelers! On Smith trips, you can look forward to traveling with our esteemed faculty, meeting with local alumnae in the destinations you visit and gaining exclusive access to many of the sites on the itinerary.
In 2016, choose from a riverboat trip along the Ganges, a short getaway to Iceland, a Belize family adventure, a study trip to Aix–en–Provence or—for the first time in Smith Travel’s history—a fascinating insider’s view of Iran.
So begin your journey on the pages of this catalog and join us for the trip of a lifetime!
Warmest wishes,
