On pumpBy its great steadiness, the ENDOBOY arm brings a
precious help in MIS heart procedures, for instance as a scope or
retractor holder, improving the accuracy and safety of the surgical
movements.
Off pumpThe ENDOBOY arm can hold a cardiac stabilizer during MIS
beating heart procedures, which allows in particular to perform
totally endoscopic coronary bypass or under a small thoracotomy.
The deflection of the stiff ENDOBOY remains lower than 3 mm under a
strength up of 16 lbs at the distal part of the arm.
Rail clampReplace the previous rail clamp (lever tightening).
Setting up the arm on the rail can be done under or other the
drapes (if the whole arm is steam sterilized). The system prevents
the arm from falling even il the clamp is not completely
tightened.
Angular adjustementAllows positioning the whole stand of the arm
(+/- 35) to get access to a wider working area and/or leaving the
stand and bent tube out of the way.
