Application scenario 1：

Launch 3G services on the basis of a 2G site

Benefit of this Application Scenario:

Can reside in any standard 19-inch-wide and 2-U-high cabinet

Can be installed on the metal pole and close to the antenna

The BBU3900 and RRU can share the power supply and antenna systems of the 2G network

Board number ： mandatory, maximum is 6

Main Functions：

Providing the CPRI interface for communication between the BBU and the

WRRU or WRFU

Processing uplink and downlink baseband signals and support HSUPA and

HSDPA function

Supporting 1+1 backup of the CPRI interface

According to the board chip processing capability, WBBP module will include

seven specifications. Current WBBP is the A version, called WBBPa.

The UEIU Functions：

Connecting to an external monitoring device and transmitting RS485

signals to the WMPT

UELP: The universal E1/T1 lightning protection (UELP) unit is a universal E1/T1

The UELP can be optionally installed in the SLPU or the BBU. Each UELP

supports the surge protection of 4-way E1/T1 signals.

Cables --- Power Cable of the BBU3900

This describes the power cable. Either -48 V power cable or +24 V power cable

can be used, depending on the power input.

Appearance : The power cable has a 3V3 connector at one end and bare wires

at the other end. Appropriate terminals are added to the bare end on site.
