FADE IN

INT- Early morning, abandoned mill

Jasper is attempting to wake up after a disturbed sleep, a

close up shot of his eyes struggling to open (when eyes are

open you can see actor names in eyes) as you can vaguely

hear SIRENS in the background which fade in throughout this

scene. Production name appears on the screen over a medium

shot of Jasper asleep.

BRIGHT FLOOD LIGHTS quickly flood the screen through the

window as Jasper suddenly awakens. He springs up from his

mattress and sprints towards the door THROWING IT OPEN.

Sprints past a window, he will not be tracked past the

window as we transition to a shot out of the window towards

the group who were directing the light towards the

surrounding buildings looking for survivors. He exits

through the door.

EXT- Early morning, outside the mill

Return to following Jasper with an over-shoulder shot, he

will SHOUT "HEY! (Cut to close up) HEY! WAIT!"

*Throughout this section of dialogue we will be using

shot-reverse-shot*

Long shot of group turning around to face Jasper, these

survivors are strong and serious faced, the leader of the

group Sam calls back "PUT YOUR HANDS WHERE I CAN SEE THEM!"

"I’M FRIENDLY, I’M NOT GOING TO HURT YOU" replies Jasper

"WE ARE NOT BEING FOOLED AGAIN SAM" shouts Christa in reply

to her brother

"I DON’T KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT YOU’RE PAST BUT RIGHT HERE,

NOW, YOU CAN TRUST ME" Jasper calmly says

"HE SOUNDS LIKE AN HONEST MAN, WE COULD DO WITH SOME HONESTY

IN THIS GROUP" says Jamie looking towards Sam (Sam stole

supplies to help his sister Christa then lied to the

stranger he stole from when he asked for help)

Sam reaches out his hand to shake Jasper’s and says "WELCOME

TO THE GROUP" to the surprise of Christa who Sam scorns at

as he walks past her.
