Compound words are made when two words are joined to form a new word, for example: blackboard.
I have taken compound words from your language and split them up. Your challenge is:1. Join a word in column 1 with any word in column 2.2. Write the new word in the box below.3. Invent a definition for your new alien word.

Remember, when you use two adjectives, you separate them using a comma. The alien I saw had fiery, oval eyes.
Write some interesting adjectives to describe different bits of the alien.

1. Aliens can run up to 450mph.
2. Candyarian means they are vegetarian but also enjoy eating sweet foods (they have a sweet tooth).
3. Aliens usually sleep in pods or space shacks made of ice. Some like to sleep in a cocoon which is woven by space worms.
4. Exploring means the same as investigating.
5. The smallest alien species is called the Pigmy alien.
6. False. Aliens have tough, green skin which is often wrinkled. Some also
have hard, shiny scales.
7. They would have chocolate, cakes, desserts, ice-cream and fizzy drinks on their shopping list.
8. They might scare humans because they have green skin, are very tall (often more than 10 metres), they can make themselves invisible and they can run extremely fast.
9. Aliens are known to be excellent mathematicians who can calculate the answers in their head.
