Triple Zero Hero Award As always there is a lot to
celebrate here at Lalor
Primary School!
Congratulations to one of our
Year 6 students, Sukriti who
has shown outstanding
initiative and responsibility in
a stressful situation. Sukriti
took the initiative to ring for
an ambulance last term when
her father was unwell. She
has been presented with a
TRIPLE ZERO HERO award to recognise her ac-
tions at an official ceremony.
Well done Sukriti the school is very proud of you!
Up Coming Event - Lalor’s Got Talent There is a buzz amongst the students with excitement
over the preparation and lead up to Lalor’s Got
Talent. The students are busy practising and
preparing their items for the traditional Lalor’s Got
Talent spectacular to be held on Thursday June 23rd
on the last week of this term. Students are able to
present items individually or as a group and discuss
these with Ms Ralph or Mrs Van Oorschot.
We may even see some of our students showcasing
our new ukuleles during this event.
Jump Rope For Heart. Skipping has really taken off this term with the
development of skills in preparation for the Jump
Rope For Heart fundraiser that is also scheduled for
the last Friday of this term. Not only is this a great
fundraising event for a very worthy cause it is also a
great way to build fitness and coordination. Keep
practising everyone.

BREAKFAST CLUB SUPPORTING STUDENTS
DURING NAPLAN TESTING
During NAPLAN testing week, our Breakfast Club Program served just
over 55 breakfasts over the 3 days to the middle and senior school. It was
fantastic to see so many students attending Breakfast Club to enjoy a
healthy nutritious breakfast to fuel their bodies and get their brains ready
for testing.
Here is some of the feedback we received from students:
“It refreshed my mind in the morning and got me more energised when I
was doing the tests. It made me so really relaxed”.
Elen – Grade 5 student.
“The food is really healthy and delicious. Having breakfast made me feel
ready for NAPLAN“. Jakeh – Grade 3 student.
