Naomi Brodkey, EranSharon & Dov Sharon

Naomi, Eran, and Dov moved toAustin in May 2020; mostrecently lived in Santa Fe, NM.Naomi is from Arlington, VA;Eran is from Houston. They areboth dual-nationals and spenttime in France and Israelrespectively. They are bothengaged and committed to beingpart of the Jewish communityand met at the Rockville, MD Moishe House while Eranwas a resident. They enjoy discovering new places, andlove to hang out with and make new friends. They arealso passionate about social justice and tikun olam.

Trinity Episcopal School and CongregationAgudas Achim are pleased to host anonline conversation with Dr. Edith Eger,93-year-old Holocaust survivor,psychologist, and author who has beenfeatured by Oprah, Brené Brown and CNNdiscussing her journey and her work.

Rabbi Neil Blumofe will lead theconversation and a Q&A session with Dr.Eger as she shares stories from her books(The Choice, The Gift) in which shedescribes her incredible journey ofsurvival, strength, and resilience; and howwe can change the thoughts and behaviorsthat keep us imprisoned to our pasts. Dr.Eger says she overcame survivor’s guiltand shame by recognizing the dignity andvalue in every human life, including herown.

All are welcome to join us for this onlineevent! While this conversation is open toeveryone, the discussion may includesome sensitive subject matter, so parentaldiscretion is advised.
