Research Interest
1. Environmental and Agriculture Microbiology: Green Technology, Isolation of soil microbes
and evaluation the efficacy on various phytopathogens (fungi and bacteria). Turf grass (Golf ground)
disease management with soil microbes. Extraction, Purification of pure compound from natural
sources and evaluation the activity on various phytopathogenic microbes.
2. Fermentation Engineering: Isolation of biomolecules from edible mushrooms and evaluates its
effects on various disorders (Anticancer, Antitumor, Immunomodulatory, Hyperglycemic,
Hyperlipidemic and Diabetics)

Duties and Responsibilities
I conduct the syllabus upgrading, administrative activities; supervise more than 40 M.Sc. thesis, M.S.
and Ph.D. students & conduct practical examination in graduation and post-graduation level students.
I am the member of the academic committee and planning committee of the department; member of
the faculty, advance studies and academic council (Apex body of the University) of the university.
I am working as the director of the Institute of Islamic Research and Education, Islamic University,
Kushtia, Bangladesh. In addition of my duty, I control the whole administration of Islamic University
Laboratory School and College.
I am also serving as a reviewer of several national and international journals.
I am working as chief editor of a peer review journal (Journal of IIER) of my university.
Currently, I am conducting some project of the ministry of Science and Technology.
