DESCRIPTION
MOTION TECHNOLOGY The automobile-style dashboard has main function indicator lights plus warning signals for operating faults and major component wear. Lifting and hydraulic functions are powerful and progressive thanks to a high power AC hydraulic pump motor enabling frequent lifting to high levels. The new concept steering axle makes acute steering angles possible and is mounted on silent blocks for improved operator comfort and quieter operation.

AC Technology
The new CESAB cenTAURO 48 160L 200LAC Technology range is an extremely com-pact four wheel truck combining excellentmanoeuvrability with all the advantages ofAC motor control technology. Two independ-ent high power AC traction motors form anelectronic differential, which combined witha new concept steering axle and compactchassis allows the cenTAURO range to workin the tightest of spaces. The range com-prises models with lifting capacities from1600 kg to 2000 kg and lift heights up to6100 mm.
Lifting and hydraulic functions are powerfuland progressive thanks to a high power AChydraulic pump motor enabling frequent liftingto high levels.
AC technology utilises components that aredesigned to cope with rapid direction changesensuring smooth acceleration and brakingand outstanding efficiency. AC technologyalso provides exceptional driver control onramps and gradients with electronic brakingeliminating roll back without the need forengaging the brakes. The CAN-BUS systemsimplifies the electrical system by significant-ly reducing the wiring and increases the flexi-bility of the truck control system. Low powerconsumption and the capability for using highcapacity batteries gives the range exceptionalautonomy of operation.
The new concept steering axle makes acutesteering angles possible and is mounted onsilent blocks for improved operator comfortand quieter operation.
Operator comfort is maximised with the stan-dard fitment of a fully adjustable, full suspen-sion seat together with an adjustable steeringcolumn. The park brake lever is within easyreach and the raised driving position providesthe operator with excellent visibility of theload and the area around the truck for safemanoeuvring.

Excellent access to the driving seat, assisted bythe large, conveniently located step with non-slipknurled aluminium tread.
The ergonomic cab features the highest standardsin operator comfort, safety and ease of access. Theproportional electronic controls integrated in the new(optional) armrest enable the operator to manage allthe hydraulic functions by simply moving the Mini-Joystick or Fingertips levers.
The operator has a choice of dif ferent driving-modes, selected by pressing the buttons on thesteering column. Three options are available, fromthe high per formance to the economy mode.
Excellent visibility and stability. The masts, withwidely-spaced profiles designed for exceptionalvisibility, guarantee rigidity and stability even atthe maximum height.
