Senior Design Project: "CO2 Sequestration in Wyoming." Team Role -- Geologic survey,
pipeline design, and aquifer storage
Geologic and economic surveys performed to determine the potential amount of CO2 that can
be stored in Wyoming. Processes that were studied included: Enhanced oil recovery, saline
aquifer storage, underground coal gasification, and coal bed methane recovery. An estimate
for the cost of an enhanced oil recovery process including separation, transportation, and
sequestration was also obtained.
