    INTRODUCTION

    Indias Retail culture is at same point Americas was in 1970s.Big bazaars was established in

    America 2000. It was larger than life .there sandwiches larger than retail and so, were there ice-

    creams. There society is built on their consumptions, while India was still socialist. The older

    generations till has the guilty of consumptions and unlike the youth of today. For the youth malls

    are what temple youth to be forest. They are new public places where people congregate meet an

    eat. Shopping is a family activity unlike in USA where it has a task to be completed before the

    day end thats a thing about Indians they look foreign emotional quotient everywhere.

    Mall culture has to be taken into account reasonable or community buying pattern. American

    behaviors as an American where ever he goes but Bengali will have different spending habits

    outside his reason.

    The peg food items will also be on the basis of community preferences. Although size out of ten

    big bazaars are in mall. Its buying rate and standards is going high network doesnt have these

    malls. shopping mall is one or more building complex of shops ,representing merchandise with

    enter connecting walk ways enabling visitors to walk easily from unity to unit along with parking

    area . Modern cars friendly stir malls develop from 1920.

    The shopping malls correspond with the rise of sub-urban living in many parts of western world,

    especially US after world war two

    Mall following the areas of how customers could best be entertain in a control environment

    individual stores or small scale change stores ,intend to benefit from shopper, attracted by big

    stores.

    RESEARCH METHODOLGY

    NEED OF THE STUDY

    Research gap had identified from review of literature. The need of the study was to fillthe gap between what has already been researched by the previous works and what the

    objectives of this study is TO STUDY WHICH SEGMENTS OF PEOPLE MOSTLY

    VISIT SHOPPING MALLS.

    METHEDOLOGY

    Research is a procedure of logical and systematic application of the fundamentals ofscience to the general and overall questions of a study and scientific technique, which

    provide precise tools, specific procedures, and technical rather philosophical means for

    getting and ordering the data prior to their logical analysis and manipulation different

    type of research designs will available depending upon the nature of research project,

    availability of manpower and circumstances.

    RESEARCH DESIGN

    Research Design is an arrangement of conditions for collection and analysis of data in amanner that aims to combine relevance to the research purpose with economy on

    procedure. The research problem having been formulated in clear-cut term helps the

    researcher to prepare a research design. The preparation of such a design facilitates in

    conducting it in an efficient manner as possible. It is a blue print for the fulfillment of

    objectives and answering questions. This research is Descriptive in nature.Descriptive

    research includes surveys, facts, finding and inquiries of different kinds. The major

    purpose of descriptive research will description of the state of affairs, as it exists at

    present. Descriptive research is that kind of research where the researcher has no control

    over the variables.

    UNIVERSE

    Entire population of Ludhiana.

    POPULATION

    All the people visiting the malls of Ludhiana City.

    SAMPLE UNIT

    Any individual person.

    SAMPLE SIZE

    The survey will be carried out on 200 respondents.

    SAMPLING TECHNIQUES

    For the purpose of research convenience technique. On the basis of convenience, theeligible respondents will from the different areas of Punjab state.

    Data collection

    Primary Data:

    Primary data will be collect a fresh and for the first time and thus happen to be original in

    character. It will be the backbone of any study. Primary data will be collected by conducting

    surveys through questionnaire. Survey questionnaire will be self-administered and will be

    distributed personally.

    Secondary Data:

    Secondary data are those which had already been collected by someone else and which had

    already been passed through the statistical process. In this case one will not confronted with the

    problems that are usually associated with the collection of original data. Secondary data either

    will be published data or unpublished data.
