AGENDA 2 ADDRESSES 2.1 Opening Address by TD
The Technical Delegate welcome all the teams and all the ITOs present. She thanked the organising committee (INAPGOC) for their hard work in preparing the facility for the competition and hospitality rendered for the tournament. She also thanked the participating teams and officials for their undying effort and dedication in training and managing their sitting volleyball teams in their country and the participation in this tournament will help in the promotion of the game in the Asian region. She thanked all the International Officials for the commitment and sharing the experience in the name of ParaVolley.
2.2 LOC Chairman’s Welcome Speech The Chairman of LOC, Dr. Nino Susanto welcomes the ITOs and teams to Jakarta,
Indonesia. He said that it’s a historical moment for Indonesia because it’s a third edition

Para Games and hope it can be one of the best games ever in Asia. More than 2,700 athletes will be competing in this games. He also mentioned that the committee is commited to make improvement in all aspect. He wish that all participants will compete in full spirit of sportsmanship and have a pleasant stay in Jakarta.

AGENDA 5 REFEREEING MATTERS 5.1 Introduction of Referees
Mr. Ebrahim Firouzie, the Referee Delegate introduces the 15 International Referees who will be on duty during the tournament.
5.2 Briefing on Refereeing Matters 5.2.1 He briefs on Match Protocol which is the 20 minute protocol. He seeks the cooperation
of the teams to be on the court in time. 5.2.2 He provides a better understanding of defensive play with the bottoms on the floor. AGENDA 6 COMPETITION MATTERS 6.1 Competition Schedule The competition schedule was revised for match no. 8 & 9 (8 Oct 2018) and match no.
15, 16 & 17 (9 Oct 2018) due to constraint for the women’s game. 6.2 Assignment of Jerseys’ Colour It’s in the bulletin. 6.3 Officials on the Bench Only five (5) officials are allowed to sit at the bench during the matches ie. 1 Head
Coach, 2 Assistant Coaches, 1 Certified Medical Doctor and 1 Therapist. Interpreters will be allowed to sit behind the coach. All officials sitting on the bench must in the same uniform.
6.4 Protest Procedures First step: Captain must inform verbally the 1st referee that the team wants to play under
protest. Second step: After the match finishes, if the team still wants to protest, the captain must
tell the scorer to write on the score sheet. Third step: Within 60 minutes after the match, the team must submit a written protest in
English with a fee of Euro 250 to the jury on duty. Jury will gather for a meeting. The fee will be refunded if the protest is upheld. Results of the protest will be known within 8 hours.
6.5 Daily Bulletins Bulletins will be circulated in soft copies via e-mails to all teams, ITOs and the LOC.
However a few hard copies will be prepared for the VIPs who come and watch the games.

be punctual. 8.3 Opening Ceremony All participants and officials are given a ticket to enter the stadium. Transport will be
provided as early as by 3.00 pm. 8.4 Meals during the Tournament Teams required the meals during the games must put an order by a day earlier. 8.5 Training Schedule There’s still a lot of empty slot and teams can request it through their LOs. 8.6. Anti Doping Players will be selected randomly for the urine test. AGENDA 9 QUESTION & ANSWERS No question is raised by the floor. AGENDA 10 CLOSING ADDRESS The TD wishes all teams the very best in the tournaments. She hopes that this game will
fostered better friendship and relationship with all the teams and the officials from all over the world especially from Asia. She again thanks the LOC for the hospitality rendered.

In 2013, when I got caught in a motorcycle
accident, I was depressed for two years. Then
my former coach and my friends encouraged
me to come back on the court to play sitting
volleyball. I used to play the normal standing
volleyball before the accident.
It was the best thing that could happen to me.
It changed my life and helped me to overcome
my new status as a disabled person. Now that
I have been playing since 2016, I participated
in my first international tournament earlier this
year in China for the World Super 6 and was
awarded best receiver.
