Three model ranges: D-AHU Professional - D-AHU Easy - D-AHU Energy

These units were developed paying special attention to energy efficiency.

Exchange surfaces, motor efficiency, filtration, insulation, friction reduction and air-flow pressure drop inside the AHU are just some of the important parameters considered in the design development. All of this provides a product ready to be easily integrated in the system and capable of contributing to overall energy savings which can be ideally matched with Daikin Air-to-Water inverter heat pumps (Heating/Cooling) and DX heat pump condensers.

Daikin air handling unit rangeWide range of air flowsIn situations where the Daikin commercial range of modular ventilation units cannot satisfy the ventilation requirement due to building constraints (large atriums, banqueting halls, etc) air handling units represent the ideal solution. Daikin’s wide range of air handling systems cover air flow rates from 0.14 m3/s up to 38.8 m3/s. The air handling units can be adapted to deliver your chosen airflow requirements.

Daikin fresh air package - ‘Plug & Play’The D-AHU Professional and Energy series provide a complete solution including unit control (EKEXV, EKEQ, DDC controller) factory mounted and configured, plug & play with our ERQ and VRV condensing units. Hydraulic coils come with 3 way valves and actuators.

The easiest solution to save you time and have only one point of contact!

Predefined sizes27 fixed sizes are available, optimised to reach the best compromise between competitiveness and manufacturing standardisation. However, Daikin’s section by section design means that units can be sized by 1cm increments to be assembled on site, without welding, to suit the space constraints of the installation.

Software ASTRA is the powerful software package developed to offer a quick and comprehensive service for the customer. ASTRA is an extremely flexible and user friendly software that enables the design and selection of Daikin AHU utilising a wide range of accessories. Variable Dimensioning™ optimises the sectional area in order to meet the air flow required at the optimum face velocity. This feature helps to precisely match the needs and avoid over sizing the AHU (when just standard sizes are available).

MECCANO is a powerful software tool to quickly convert our offer to an executable order: i.e., technical drawings, executive drawings for the production and bill of material.

Panel performanceDaikin polyurethane panels guarantee excellent performance in terms of thermal insulation. For instance Daikin DS 25 offer the same performance as a mineral wool panel of 50mm thickness. While Daikin DS 50 match the thermal performance of a mineral wool panel of 90mm panel thickness.

Flex Solution (Air-to-Water)The Daikin Altherma Flex system consists of an outdoor unit R410A. This extracts heat from the outside air and raises the hot water temperature through a cascade HB system utilising R134a. This heats water with remarkable efficiency to a maximum temperature of 75°C. Up to 10 indoor units (HB) can be connected to 1 outdoor unit.

Indoor HB available in Heating/Cooling and can be connected to LPHW, chilled water coils or thermal storage for domestic hot water.
