• Challenge: GeVng the word out to newly qualified rated officers • Order has undertaken significant ini$a$ves to improve relevancy in the current defense environment
• Three Phase Program • Phase One -‐ Branding and Organiza$onal Ini$a$ves (Already discussed by Na$onal Commander)
• Phase Two -‐ Incorpora$ng New Rated members into Order Leadership (Board and Commi_ees)
• Process begun and will con$nue • Flight par$cipa$on essen$al to success

• Phase Three -‐ Formed Ad Hoc group to evaluate the road ahead • Developing Two Tier Awards system • Tier One -‐ Na&onal Awards to con&nue with some changes to match new membership criteria

• Tier Two -‐ Awards CommiHee evalua&ng expand current “Top Graduate” awards to recognize top graduates in all rated special&es • Much work needed here to develop system that is achievable • Essen&ally a Flight/Member program • Considera&ons of presence, affordability and staff workload. • “Champions” for each new rated area • Final drad will be briefed and if approved by Board, publish an Implementa&on Plan

MISSION STATEMENT
The mission of the Daedalian Founda&on is to promote military avia&on, educa&on, ci&zenship, and charity. To accomplish this mission the Founda&on has established the following goals: To inspire young Americans to pursue careers as military aviators, via college scholarships and flying instruc&on. To perpetuate the spirit of patrio&sm, the love of country, and the high ideals of self-‐sacrifice exemplified by the American pilots of World War I in whose honor the Order of Daedalians was founded. To raise and invest funds to advance the Daedalian Founda&on mission.
VISION The Daedalian Founda&on will inspire tomorrow’s military aviators to selflessly serve the Na&on.
