  • REMARKS: Tread is superimposed on subtread. Liner stock extends from 0.20 in. below heel on serial side to 0.30 in. above heel on non-serial side and is approx. 0.025 in. in thickness at crown. Liner splice is on an approx. 85 degree angle. Rubber layer under ply is approx. 0.022 in. in thickness at crown and apparently extends from 0.35 in. above heel on serial side to 0.80 in. above heel on non-serial side. Venting inside of tire has angular vents spaced approx. 0.35 in. apart at bead. Vents crisscross forming an "X" pattern on both sides of the tire and are approx. 6.00 in. and 7.40 in. long on serial side and 6.50 in and 8.00 in. long on non-serial side, approx. 0.10 in. wide and approx. 0.03 in. raised and are part of a molded vent pattern (see section). Tread mold is divided into 9 radial segments. Treadwear indicators are marked with 6 triangles around the shoulder of the tire.
