D4: DAILY STORY JOURNAL

Get (or make) a bound lined or blank book for ideas

Date each brainstorming session

Any descriptive format works but a list with a shordescription is recommended

Drawings and inserts are a plus but not required

Come up with at least one idea every day for the next 15weeks

I will occasionally do a “spot check” of your ideas – if youdon’t have them you can’t make them up – so stay current(or ahead) on them, that’s the point!

 Your book WILL be turned in on the last week – if you want it back you will have tocome pick it up from me.

D5: WEEKLY STORY DRILLS

In addition to the above entries you arerequired to do weekly creativity “drills” inclass

Ideally you should put these entries into yourStory journal

 They will be timed but graded forparticipation only

 They can not be made up – so don’t missclass or come in late!

 They will be turned in at the same time as D4
