d.3 Version 7.2 is the result of our devoted ongoing effort to create products

that help make the daily work of our customers simpler, more comfortable and

more efficient.

What makes our new version of the d.3 ECM suite stand out is its high level of innovation.

Signifi cant productivity gains, consistent implementation of simple workflows and an

interface ideally adapted to standard user behavior were our milestones in 2012. We would

We further improved the familiar link view feature. It now shows all structures up to the highest

record level and even when viewing multiple records, you are instantly shown all documents that

contain the highlighted element in the hit list.

You can perform even more personalized settings, such as sorting the elements in alphanumerical

order or according to their last change.

Now you can specify the number of entries yourself. The previous restriction on mailbox entries has

been abolished. Also, you can decide whether the mailbox will provide a quantity overview. Better

yet, regardless of how many entries will be loaded initially, version 7.2 directly shows you the total

number of mailbox entries; this information is provided instantaneously, even for large mailboxes

with many entries.

Faster and simpler workflow processing

New functions greatly facilitate the processing of large numbers of workflows, aiding the work of, for

instance, financial accountants when validating invoices. Version 7.2 allows you to process multiple

marked tasks one after another. The improved workflow view not only displays documents, but it also

provides several new functions. You can easily add new documents via drag & drop using the link view.

The workflow history and all history diagrams are within easy reach. Individual configuration options

further allow you to arrange the workflow display to your liking.

The improved search refinement provides an aggregated view of the different hit proper ties in your

hit list to help you furt her refi ne the results of large hit li sts. You can now specify which properties

of a category are to be accounted for and determine the sorting order. This facilitates mailbox

searches and allows you to refi ne your search results.

For documents with status released, you can add new redlinings and merge them with t he doc to

create a new document version.

Highly structured hit list and record navigation

Users instantly recognize records with no content, which are now displayed in gray. Moreover, a

reference file function offers a valuable tool for filing records in a struct ured and clear manner.

Digitally signed documents are displayed with a special icon to indicate their status at a glance.

Optimized document sharing and organization

A new color code can be used to highlight text in records or hit lists to facilitate searches. Your

A new d.3 process manager web interface ensures that the informa tion showed is always up to date. Further-

more, you can subdivide processes into freely assignable groups. The new process manager can now handle

300 instead of just 100 processes.

The new version makes it even easier to call up web services from JPL, for example, to identify data when

importing files from the ERP system. In addition, the Java hook application range was extended, allowing its use

at all hook entry points as well as in the workfl ow.

In order to avoid manual launches of workflows that can be start ed via hook/API, it is now possible to store an

individual start method.

You can now manage different source domains in d.3 with different administrative users and passwords.

d.3 server offers multi-level ad-hoc rights assignment and supports the forwarding of chains.

The caption function enables the centrali zed bundling of a documents or records key properties. Now you can

also include standard fi le properties such as the fi le name or author in the caption. E xpanded administration

features round off the new caption function.
