Cyber Security Post Wiki-LeaksNovember 2010 was the darkest month for most of the governments in world because of the wiki-leaks because of which they had to face so much criticism after that it become very necessary to take some necessary measures to counter such actions in future. To do this first step taken by US government was to ban the outside access to their classified information. CDs and portable devices were used to take data from the diplomatic cables and leaked now US homeland security department has banned the usage of portable devices in those areas where sensitive information is kept (Hoover, 2012).Home land security department is responsible for the protecting the information domain of the government and other private sectors. Information technology community and public is also beneficiary of this department so it also became responsibility of homeland security to protect the private sensitive of information of public and private sector too. Some important tools are used for detection of the any cyber crime and intrusion into the system of the government. Homeland securities department has efficient system to detect the potential cyber breach threats before time and send security alerts to all the stake holders after the incident of Wiki-leaks this department has upgraded its system and according to last years statistics 5000 cyber security alerts and protection advises were issued to the all the stakeholders may it be government, private or some critical information holder agencies are. There are so many operational units and coordinating centers are established by the Homeland Securities Department and one of the important departments is National Cyber security and Communications Integration Center (NCCIC).
