HCL Technologies Ltd –April 2014 – Till date

Clientele: Mitel Networks, Canada

1. Worked for the Desktop team for Praxis and VXWorks phones based on the VOIP/SIP technologies.

2. I was directly involved in the communication with the client for the technical requirements, test case preparations and executions.

3. I was responsible for all the work including final GA release as I was tackling individual the complete desktop team work.

4. I ‘ve learnt several technologies including SIP/SRTP/RTCP/RTCP-XR and also worked on various platforms including Asterisk, Sipxecs, Broadsoft and clearspan.

Clientele : Alcatel-Lucent, Bangalore

To understand the client requirements and to achieve the expected results through communication with the other teams involved.

I was involve in working on the OMC-R product of Alcatel-Lucent that is basically an Operation center for GSM Radio networks that can support the software configurations and changes in the BTS and BSC from the OMC-R.

Exceeded in my technical work and was appreciated for the excellent performance. Worked on the build system for the product based on ALU-frame work.

BTS-Femtocell : This Project was to create a NIB Box (Network in a Box) containing the Femtocell as Home Node B, Home Node B Gateway, MSC, HLR, SGSN and GGSN This project will provide the wireless network to the areas where normal service providers are unreachable.

Taken part in the development of the RLC, RRC and MAC layer of Femtocell Protocol stack based on UMTS.

Done performance testing using load runner and sanity testing as per the latest codebase from the client.

Documentation for the SRS-Phase 2 Documentation for the CVP- Phase 2 Solving the issues found in sanity testing and latest codebase from client. Writing the sanity test cases and execution(end to end testing). RTM, design documentation Sanity performed on Octasic, picochip and Whitestar boards. Configuration/management and working on specific tools like caliperdb. Worked on

McCabe, Avtecs, Mc Cabe IQ for for Path/Code coverage.

Project : UMTS-RLC (AM Mode) :

Overview :

RLC-AM Mode makes layer to layer communication of data between adjacent layer and sub layer by implementing some specific services and functions according to 3GPP. It helps in layer to layer communication of data between layers and sub layers using RLC-AM Mode services and functions that includes segmentation and concatenation, Padding, RLC PDU header addition, Header removal, Reassembly, SDU discard, in sequence delivery of data.

Responsibilities :

•Analysis of the specifications for RRC, RLC, PDCP Layer (3GPP-TS 25.331, 25.323, 25.322) Release 6 specifications.

•Preparation of Requirement Specification document for the module.•Documentation for High Level Design and Low Level Design.• Preparation of Test Plan and implementation of test stub• Coding the feature.•Testing the feature using test stubs.

Case Studies: ETWS System

Reference: 22.968 (PWS) Public warning system.

Overview : ETWS is a service that delivers Earthquake and Tsunami warning notifications provided by warning notification providers to the UE which have the capabilities of receiving warning notifications within notification areas through the 3GPP network.

Project Overview:

RLC-TM Mode makes layer to layer communication of data between adjacent layer and sub layer. In this mode the transmitting side has a transmission buffer and receiving side has a reception buffer and data transmission happens without adding header or trailer functions according to 3GPP. It helps in layer to

layer communication of data between layers and sub layers using RLC-TM mode. It operates over BCCH,DCCH or DTCH logical channels.

Responsibilities:
