Short summary of qualifications
In-depth and comprehensive knowledge and understanding of human rights (standards,
mechanisms and architecture, actors) at the national, regional and international levels. Strong
experience in programming, including familiarity with new Danida guidelines, and donor
requirements (e.g. alignment, theory of change, HRBA, risk analysis).
Decades of experience in working with a broad range of partners (state and non-state) in
developing/transitional countries (Africa, Asia, Middle East and Europe) on the identification,
design and implementation of programmes and projects. Proven research, analytical and

writing capacity. A clear understanding of policy and strategy, and the translation of these into
appropriate and coherent activity. Focused, creative, flexible, structured and with a very high commitment and ability to achieving

how to motivate and lead. Navigate well in challenging contexts, both in terms of culture and
