An Introduction

I am a Fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. I have been working in development sector since 1995 and have been associated with number of government agencies at national and state level, development partners, institutions, donors and NGOs as a consultant in the area of Public Financial Management (PFM), Public Procurement, Public Private Partnership, Municipal Finance, etc. I have so far experience of working in more than 30 major development projects funded by different national and international agencies. In the course of my engagement, I have developed several guidelines and manuals on procurement procedure and practices for both national and state level programme. In addition, I have also conducted several workshops and training programmes on public procurement, financial management and control, inventory management, budgeting, taxation, audit and accounting. My association with commercial sector as a financial consultant and practising chartered accountant has helped me in sharpening my skill on Project Appraisal, Financial Modelling, System Designing (audit & accounting), Taxation, etc.
