PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE (in reverse chronological order) July 2010: Member of the World Economic Forum’s Global Agenda Council on Space Security 2010. The Council, comprising of about 15 experts from all over the world, serves as an informal advisory board to the World Economic Forum and is “the world’s foremost integrated ‘intelligence’ network of innovative thinking and idea exchange on global issues.” May-June 2010: Senior Visiting Professor at School of Law of Beijing Institute of Technology, Beijing, PRC and School of Law of Harbin Institute of Technology, Harbin, PRC, where I gave ten lectures, participated in a workshop and in a seminar, and interacted with faculty members and students. January-March 2010: Senior Visiting Professor at the University of Petroleum and Energy Studies, Dehra Dun, India and Senior Research Fellow at the Indian Society of International Law, New Delhi, India, where I gave five lectures, participated in workshops, interacted with faculty members and students, and carried out research for my planned books and papers. October 2009: Member of the Advisor Group of Legal Experts on Optional Rules for Arbitration of Disputes Relating to Outer Space within the Permanent Court of Arbitration based in The Hague.
