Proserv offers a wide range of industry leading cutting equipment and services for marine and subsea operations for use within remote and challenging environments, suited to both topside and subsea applications. Using the company’s in-house manufacturing capabilities and expertise, we are continually developing new tooling solutions in order to meet complex engineering project requirements worldwide.

The Proserv Diamond Wire cutting system is ideal for IRM and as part of abandonment and decommissioning projects.

Available in several sizes ranging from 4 -14 in (100 mm - 355.6 mm) to 62 - 90 in (1,574 – 2,286 mm) in diameter, each tool in the range can cut through various materials and protective coatings and can be handled and operated by any work class ROV or surface deployed. The system’s independent power supply from vessel provides increased convenience and we have also developed a control system and fine metering valves to optimise efficiency in the cutting process.

Features & Benefits

• Work is carried out by a team of experienced personnel• The compact design of the tooling and its light weight provides for less deck

space and some tools in the range (DWS 42-70) are now built in 2 sections to provide easier and more economic airfreight transportation

• Constructed from marine grade aluminium alloy and 316 stainless steel, our range is lighter in weight with increased corrosion resistance and greater structural strength

• Buoyancy can also be added to reduce the weight in water to less than 100 kg • The Proserv Diamond Wire tools can be used on any tubular subsea structure

as part of the removal or repair operations including pipelines, caissons and jackets as well as TCP2 & TP1 deck separation and risers, offering a robust tooling system for use in hazardous environments that is safe and harmless to the marine environment

The HP Water Jetting Unit uses a patented HPW-pump, which is a reciprocating, double acting, hydraulic piston pump. This develops pressure in the delivery (water) line by transforming the actuating fluid power, usually hydraulic oil, into pumping fluid power; this is defined by the supplied flow rate and pressure to the pump.

These systems are specifically designed for integration with industry standard workclass Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV) systems. The system delivers water at high pressure through a turbo (rotating point) nozzle which combines the advantages of fan and point nozzles in one unit.

The system is designed for ease of installation and maintenance and is robustly constructed to resist corrosion and so enhance environmental protection, a variety of specifications can be provided upon request.

The Proserv Internal Pipe Cutter (IPC) is deployed on its own umbilical and lowered into the pile utilising the vessel crane, cherry picker or winch wire and is monitored by the Proserv operator. Once the spreader beam has landed out on top of the pile, the IPC is centralised by its integral centralisers ready for cutting pending final functional tests. The circumferential movement of the cutting head is controlled using hydraulics, with the cutting process monitored by a radial encoder, which gives the operator accurate real time readings of the nozzle position within the pipe.

Features & Benefits
